Capt. Rick only runs private trips, so rest assured you’ll have the boat all to yourself!
Your journey will start on a 35’ Bruno & Stillman saltwater fishing boat. It runs on a 375 HP Caterpillar engine and can sit up to 6 guests. It uses modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology for safe navigation. The onboard amenities include a flybridge, toilet, bed. Also, there’s an ice-box for you to store all your favorite drinks and snacks. For any help, just turn to the first mate and they will see to all your needs.
The choice of fish you can catch is excellent. There’s Giant Trevally, Wrasse, Nabeta, Taape, Uku, Papio, Triggerfish, Needlefish, just to name a few. Kids are more than welcome to join in, so feel free to bring them along as well. Both guests and the crew will keep the fish they catch. Of course, you’re free to return it to the water if you wish.
You’ll be provided with all the rods, reels, tackle, bait, and lures. Feel free to bring any food and drinks of your choice.
There is no additional price for children age 0-1, however, they do count towards the total group size, which is a maximum of 6.

Saved our day! The whole family had a blast!

So we had booked our charter for 8:30 AM, and after a whole week of events in Waikiki for some reason, my brain had us booked at 12:30 PM. The crew called and let us know that we were late. I explained what happened and they called the party after us to see if they could push out a little bit of time because we were already half an hour late. We booked it over there and Captain Rick and the crew were unbelievable. What a great dude and best of all was we caught a ton of fish. We had a really good charter. My 12-year-old son absolutely loves fishing and could not stop thinking about this trip all week. If I had blown that it would've been the worst way to end our vacation. Instead, Captain Rick and the booking service really turned it around for us. Unbelievably grateful and we had a blast. Thank you.

Our fishing experience was absolutely awesome! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The captain and deckhand were incredibly helpful, making sure we were well taken care of and, most importantly, putting us right on the fish! We caught a variety of fish, making for an exciting and action-packed day on the water. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a first-timer, they made sure everyone had a fantastic time. Not only was the fishing top-notch, but the boat itself was amazing—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a perfect day on the water. Wonderful Time on the Water

We thoroughly enjoyed our fishing excursion with Kaito and Hannah. They took us to some spots with beautiful views and we caught a good number of fish. Two hours goes by quickly, but in that time we had a ton of fun and we feel like it was well worth the price. If you're into having a great, laid back time on the water and catching some very cool fish, I highly recommend going with Oahu Pelagic. They're an excellent team. When bottom fishing, it's easy for the lines to tangle in each other and for the tides to push you around so you're fishing under the boat, which is not ideal. Hannah did a phenomenal job keeping the boat in position and putting us on the fish. Kaito gave us awesome explanations of the fish we were catching and it felt like he & Hannah had just as much fun as we did out there. This was their last trip of the day and I know they were likely tired, but they were full of energy and so positive and helpful. It was really a wonderful highlight of our vacation. Huge thanks to the Oahu Pelagic crew!

AMAZING CHARTER EXPERIENCE WITH AN EXCELLENT CREW!!

Going to keep it short and simple. This was a wonderful experience to go on. My partner and I went out for two hours and got the most out of it. We caught lots of fish and most importantly the rare state Hawaiian fish. Rick and Hannah were our two crew mates and were great! Rick was playing the tunes while being an excellent captain while Hannah was below making sure we were baited up and in position to catch fish! She also is very educated when it comes to marine life which was a huge bonus as she was able to tell us what the fish was and some information on it! Would definitely do it again!
