Oilfield Outkasts – Killing Time 

If you’re in for a true fishing adventure, head out to Freeport, Texas, then pay a visit to the Oilfield Outkasts. They offer you trips to offshore waters, reefs, and wrecks, all brimming with quality fish and surrounded by beautiful nature. Pick your date and embark on a sea journey you’ll remember for a long time!

You’ll be fishing from a 34’ Fountain center console that can sit up to 6 anglers and is powered by a twin 300 HP Yamaha engines. The boat uses double Garmin GPS, a fishfinder, radio, and radar for safe and efficient navigation. There’s also a portable camp-style toilet available upon request, multimedia system, ice-box, and livewell. A first mate will be joining the trip as well to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable.

Among the many different species you can catch, some of the most prized include Red Snapper(seasonal), Mahi, Kingfish, Blacktip Shark, Ling, and Vermillion Snapper. There’s also a wide range of techniques to utilize for your fishing. Using both light and heavy tackle, you’ll have the chance to bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, spin, jig, as well as pop and drift fish. Children over 3 are welcome to join the trip. You can also release your catch, just let the captain know in advance.

You’ll have all the tackle and bait waiting for you on the boat when you arrive and the crew will clean and bag your catch. You should only bring your licenses, food, and drinks.
