Louisiana Offshore Fishing Charters and Captain Troy Wetzel welcome you to Venice, Louisiana. Stop by if you’re in for real offshore fun and join the captain in catching various prized fish. There will surely be many first-rate species that will give you a fun time catching them, so come aboard and enjoy your stay on the water!
You’ll start your trip on a 42’ Razor Cat Catamaran boat. It runs on four 435 HP Suzuki outboard engines and can sit up to 6 guests. For navigation, it uses GPS, a fishfinder, a radio, and a radar. The boat features a toilet, multimedia system, and an ice-box. The onboard fishing gear includes outriggers, downriggers, and two 150-gallon live bait tanks. There will also be a first mate present.
You can go after Amberjack, Mahi, Blue Marlin, Goliath Grouper, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna, and many more respectable species. There are many ways to fish as well, so you’ll be bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, as well as popping. You can keep the fish you catch and kids are welcome to join the trip.
The captain will provide you with all the tackle, live bait, and lures, and will also clean and bag your catch. You should just bring your licenses, food, and drinks before you depart. Keep in mind the fuel is not included in the price.

Sept 10th day trip with captain Troy and deck hand Chris
We started our journey at 6 in the morning sharp. It was an was trip though I’ve been deep sea fishing before myself and the other guys learned a lot from captain Troy. I do not recommend fishing on the full moon, we didn’t catch a lot but how ever Captain Troy extend our trip trying to get some fish in. It’s called fishing for a reason. I highly recommend Captain Troy he is an awesome guy.

We had an amazing time. I can’t wait to book another trip with them. The morning started out rough with bad weather, but Capt. Andre had us out in the boat as soon as the weather improved. He got us out on a hot spot and him and the deck hand worked so hard to make this trip a trip of a life time. Our ice chest was completely full when we left, and we all had smiles on our faces that will last a long time. We have memories that last a life time.
