Finally, something for the whole family to enjoy! Salty Blue Charters offers all kinds of fishing trips out of Port Orange. Spend a day on a fun activity that brings together anglers of all skill levels. The crew loves taking kids fishing and teaching them a couple of cool tricks, as well as how to operate a boat safely if they’re interested in learning.
The trip starts on a 28’ Parker boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This offshore machine is powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha engines and reaches the speed of 40 knots. Besides navigational electronics, the boat also features safety gear, a private toilet, snorkeling equipment, and all kinds of fishing gear that will help you catch the fish of your dreams.
You can pick and choose what kind of fishing you want to do, whether you want a short inshore trip or a full day offshore of in the Gulf Stream. Troll offshore for sport fish such as Mah Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel, and many more. After that, you can stop at a reef for bottom fishing on the way in for a variety of Snapper, Sea Bass, Triggerfish, and more.
It’s never been easier to get ready for a trip - just pack your sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen. Everything else is covered by the crew- your fishing licenses, equipment, snacks, and drinks. They’ll even clean your catch after the trip, so you’ll leave the boat with the freshest fish fillets.

6 Hour Trip – Offshore (AM)
Tough day
Forecast was inaccurate so Brian (captain) had to change up the game plan. We trolled, bottom fished, and trolled again- the bite was tough. The fish never turned on like they would usually do. Brian and Travis (mate) worked hard to scratch out what we did catch (vermillion and red snapper, Spanish mackerel, Bonita, almaco jack, and a barracuda). We even stayed out a little longer to put fish in the box, until storms chased us off (Brian just wanted us to catch more). These guys were super nice and dedicated to give us a good day. It's not a luxury sport fishing yacht, but the Parker is comfortable, organized, and capable. I would recommend giving these guys a try, I've done several charters around Florida and you won't find a nicer, fun, and accommodating crew than Brian and Travis.

Half day off shore with Captain Brian
Captain Brian was awesome! Very knowledgeable, very fun, good teacher and seems like an overall great guy! First mate was sick and couldn't make it, but Captain Brian went above and beyond and managed our family of 4 like a pro. He kept us having fun and on the fish the whole trip. On a whole nother level... Our 19 year old son is staying for another 6 weeks to attend Umpire school and Capt Brian. exchanged numbers with him, told him to call if he needs anything while he's here. That was cool! He will definitely be our go to guy in the future!

8-hour trip with Captain Brian
We had an amazing day of fishing with Captain Brian and First Mate Travis. The crew put us on fish within an hour of departure and made sure we always had a line in the water. We caught several different species including snappers, kings, cobia, barracuda, amberjacks and even a 300 lbs Goliath. The team was flexible and glad to cater to requests. Our group ranged from first timers to frequent anglers and everyone consistently caught fish. I can only recommend this trip and will definitely go again.

6 hours with Brian and Travis
My teenage son and I had a great time fishing with Brian and Travis. We started out trolling and caught several barracudas and Mackerel. We then switched to bottom fishing catching a 20+ pound snapper. We also hooked up three time with Goliath Groupers and were unable to land them because our 220# braid broke and another time our steel leader snapped. The trip was a blast and both Captain and First Mate worked hard for our success.

8 Hour Trip – Offshore
An awesome experience with a knowledgeable captain and crew
This trip was a great success. The captain knew the best spots to hit for a certain fish and the correct bait to use at all times. He also had plans for alternative areas in case the fish weren't biting on that specific day. The crew member that accompanied us was just as knowledgeable and taught us many tips to help make the day more enjoyable. I brought my friend with me who had never gone deep sea fishing before and his experience couldn't have been any better. The crew was there to help him every step of the way. We ended up with 25-35 pounds of fresh caught fish by the end of the 8 hour trip that was hand filleted by the crew themselves. They even provided us with different cuts of fish and explained the best ways to cook them. Bring supplies with you but they did the best they could to keep us hydrated and engaged throughout the entire day. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking to have a once in a lifetime experience out on the water!! Definitely going to go back out with Cap Brian in May Thanks again for a great trip

This trip was a great success. The captain knew the best spots to hit for a certain fish and the correct bait to use at all times. He also had plans for alternative areas in case the fish weren't biting on that specific day. The crew member that accompanied us was just as knowledgeable and taught us many tips to help make the day more enjoyable. I brought my friend with me who had never gone deep sea fishing before and his experience couldn't have been any better. The crew was there to help him every step of the way.
