Family owned and operated out of Murrells Inlet South Carolina. You can experience some superb inshore and nearshore fishing. Captain Adam, a born and raised local, has been fishing in these waters for over 30 years. He is the owner of Tide Chaser Enterprises LLC and also has 2 other captains that work with our team – Capt. Lucas, and Capt. Tommy (Tide Chaser/Saltwater Assassin). They are your go-to for all things fishing in their neck of the woods/water.
Captain Adam and his crew are true all-rounders when it comes to fishing. Using a variety of techniques, they ensure that you have the best time possible reeling them in. Depending on the trip you choose, you can expect to reel in Black Drum, Cobia, Flounder, King Mackerel, Redfish, Black Seabass, Spadefish and SHARKS!
A typical trip will take you fishing either inshore or nearshore depending on the weather. You'll be able to keep your catch, but please bear in mind that all over-slot or under-slot fish will have to be returned to the water. All the gear will be provided for you including fishing rods and reels. Your fishing license is included in the price as well as cleaning your catch.
You are welcome to take food, drinks (no glass), and sunscreen (lotion only) with you.

From the moment we arrived Captian Adam made us feel very comfortable. What really stood out was how great he was with the kids— super patient with our 10 year old who loves fishing. He took the time to teach him how to cast & and reel in fish without ever making it feel rushed or stressful. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed helping our son have a great experience. We caught a ton of different fish! The music on the boat was also a great touch to our fishing experience!! We will definitely use Tide Chasers again.

Half Day Winter Special (PM) on June 19, 2023 • 5 adultsJB made sure we had the best possibilities to catch fish while watching out for our safety. We caught a shark and two Cobias. Unfortunately, both Cobias were just short of being legal to keep. While we were far away from land, JB kept a close eye on a storm that was rolling in. He kept us out as long as possible, but when he knew staying out any longer was dangerous, he took us to another location closer to the return dock. Soon after we arrived by the dock, we heard thunder and ended our trip a few minutes early, but JB prorated our trip since we didn’t get the full 4 hrs. I highly recommend JB and would definitely book with him again.

Winter Sale Day Half Day Trip (AM) on July 27, 2022 • 4 adults • 2 childrenOverall the trip was great!!! Although fish weren’t biting great we all still caught at least one fish (Captain Lucas hooked one and let our little one reel it in). We have an 8year old daughter who wasn’t super interested in fishing but was very inquisitive about the bait (mud minnows) and Captain Lucas answered every question she had and kept her entertained while the rest of us fished. He was quick to resolve any issues/snags we had and moved us to several areas to try and catch fish. We did catch one regulation size flounder that he fillet out and cleaned up for us to bring home. We would recommend Captain Lucas, especially if you’ll be taking any kiddos, he was absolutely amazing with our daughter who asked questions for 4 hours straight.

Very windy causing the captain to attempt to find calmer areas lot fish in. The wind made it difficult to determine when to set the hook when the flounder hit.
