Freshbait Sportfishing 

Freshbait Sportfishing welcomes you to Newport Beach, California. Spend a day on its waters exploring spots near and off the shore, reefs, and wrecks, and chase many different prized species. You’ll be in the safe hands of Captain Daron Muratyan, a skilled and friendly angler who’ll make sure you have a memorable fishing experience. Hop aboard and start the adventure!

You’ll fish from a restored 25’ Parker saltwater fishing boat. It can sit up to 4 guests and runs on a 250 HP Yamaha engine. It’s equipped with full-featured navigation electronics, outriggers, downriggers, and a livewell. There are beds in case you want to rest and you’ll also have an ice-box to store your fish and drinks. If your group has 3 people or less, the first mate will be available to join the trip.

You can target Yellowtail Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, White Seabass, Rockfish, Tuna, Bonito, and Swordfish. Techniques of all kinds are available to you, some of them including deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, drift fishing, as well as kite fishing. There can be no smoking or alcohol on board. You’re free to keep your catch if you wish so, as well as to bring children on your trip.

Captain Daron will cover you for all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures. Yours is to bring fishing licenses and the food and drinks of your choice.
