Spend a day on the water in Florida and have a fantastic angling experience with Emerald Coast Charters! Starting out of Destin, you and the crew will explore the fish-rich nearshore and offshore waters, reefs, and wrecks that offer you plenty of opportunities to land a great catch. Hop aboard the Discipleship, a vessel equipped with everything your family needs to be comfortable and safe. With over 15 years of experience navigating the gulf coast waters, the captain knows the best fishing spots and she’ll make sure you have a remarkable time catching big fish and making memories of a lifetime!
Your journey will start on the Discipleship, a restored 46’ Viking flybridge boat big enough to sit up to 12 anglers. Its mighty engine is a twin 500 HP Detroit that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 12 knots. Apart from being rigged with modern, full-featured navigation technology, the Discipleship is equipped with outriggers, downriggers, and a livewell. To maximize your comfort, you can use the onboard kitchen, toilet, shower, flybridge, and beds. The boat is also modified so it can welcome guests in wheelchairs, it’s air-conditioned, and it features a refrigerator and an icebox. Finally, there will be a first mate present aboard to give you any assistance you may need.
On your trip, you can go after Wahoo, Snapper, Grouper, Kingfish, Bonito, as well as many other fun-to-catch prized species. You’ll chase them on light and heavy tackle by bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, and jigging. Kids are more than welcome to join in and you can choose whether you’ll just release the fish you’ve caught or keep it and take it home.
The captain will cover you for all the fishing gear and licenses you’ll need, as well as clean and fillet your catch. Before you head out to the boat, just make sure that you’ve packed some food and drinks.

5 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing
Awesome Day!
I took my five adult kids and two of their spouses out for a day of fishing and everyone had a great time. Captain Brandy was amazing. Within five minutes she knew everyone’s name and for the next six hours gave instruction, direction and encouragement. She engaged with each of the kids and made everyone feel welcome. Her first mate was also incredible. He kept everyone fishing and was incredibly helpful. We had a fantastic day.

Full Day Trip Spring
Picture perfect trip
From start to finish the trip was ideal. Captain Brandy asked what we wanted to do and we said bring home as many as we can, and that’s exactly what we did. We stayed on fish until our crew literally couldn’t fish anymore. Absolutely recommend to others and will definitely be booking again in the future.

6 Hour Family Fun Trip (AM)
Amazing Trip
We did a 6 hour morning trip with 7 anglers. Right from the start the excitement started. Captain Brandy and her deck hand Nick were very informative and put us on fish within 30 minutes. We caught lots of grouper, vermillion snapper and red snapper. We would definitely recommend this charter and plan to go again on our next trip to Destin.
