Hop aboard and have some fun catching fish with Eyes Ready Charters LLC. Come to Fairport Harbor, Ohio and from there go the central basin of Lake Erie and explore its fish-rich waters for lovely freshwater species. Captain Joseph Takacs knows these grounds like the back of his hand. He will make sure you have an exciting time on the water.

You’ll start your trip on a 31’ Baha cruiser fit to take up to 6 guests and powered by twin 340 HP Pleasure Craft engines. Its navigation gear is comprised of Simrad GPS and radar, a fishfinder, and two Marine radios. The boat’s got 2 Big Jon electric downriggers, a toilet, and features a refrigerator and multimedia system. A first mate may also join your trip if one is available.

Traveling some 30 miles east of Cleveland, you will encounter some of the best freshwater species – Walleye, Rainbow Trout, and Yellow Perch. You’ll catch them by trolling on heavy tackle. The crew loves having kids on board, so feel free to bring them along as well. Apart from your catch, you can keep the captain’s and the first mate’s catch as well! We also provide fish cleaning for a nominal fee: $3.00 per fish.  This is less than the other fish cleaning services in the area and provides you with fillets ready for the pan or fryer.

Captain Joe has you covered for all the tackle, live bait, and lures, meaning you should just bring your licenses, food, and drinks.
