Local Fishing Charters is run by Capt. Thomas Jr. He is a 4th-generation local fisherman who grew up in South Florida working on commercial fishing and charter fishing boats. His charter is a great hands-on learning experience, a tour where you get to actively participate in the action. You get a real fishing experience like learning how to properly use gear, and special tactics to get an edge on the fish!
You'll be fishing on a 26' Mako boat that accommodates up to 6 anglers. The boat is fully restored in 2021 and decked out, powered by a brand new 300 HP Mercury engine, and is equipped with the latest electronic technology to help find and target fish. There's also a multimedia system, so you can enjoy your favorite playlist on the boat.
You might be trolling, kite fishing, live baiting, bottom fishing, or drift fishing depending on the time of year and what is most likely biting. The list of possible catches goes on and on, but some of the most common ones are Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Wahoo, Sailfish, Kingfish, Barracuda, Tuna, and Mackerel.
The trip is all-inclusive, all you need to bring is food and drinks for yourselves. The captain covers your fishing equipment and licenses. If you want to keep the catch, he'll also clean it for you free of charge. Don't forget to bring hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

After all everybody caught one kingfish. That my wife caught a 60+ pounder was definitely our highlight. My two nephews are still talking about this adventure und will keep this for a long time in memory. I highly recommend Thomas and will absolutely get back out on the water with him again anytime I’m back fishing in South Florida.

8 Hour Trip – Deep Sea on May 5, 2023 • 2 adultsThis trip was actually extra special because I wanted to do something for my sons 14th bday and have my dad enjoy the day with him as well. We are from NJ, and both are avid fisherman at home. They had a wonderful day and caught quite a few different types of fish and we definitely weren’t left disappointed. My son caught his first sail fish, king mackerel, tile fish and a large mahi. They enjoyed the captain and we are so thankful for the experience that they had. Highly recommend. One thing I always tell my son is they call it fishing and not catching for a reason, as of course some days nothing bites. So glad we took the chance and it was worth every penny.

we caught King fish, a maji, Blackfin Tuna, Some Big!!! Bonito, snapper. next time aiming for a wahoo, more majis and snappers! the captain definitely knows what he’s doing, and jnow all the fish spots! this trip it’s really good for friends and family. you should bring a lot water and snacks! nenver its too much.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
