Based out of St. Augustine, Salty Sun Tours is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.
Come on aboard with Capt. Mike, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Redfish, Flounder, King Mackerel, Amberjack, Snapper, and Black Drum, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.
Your boat for the day will be a 24’ Angler that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.
You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

We had a great trip overall. Captain Mike tool a lot of time with my grandson's to make sure they had a good trip. From teaching them to cast and work the bait and even letting one of them help him when moving the boat to a new location. While we did not catch but one fish the boys really enjoyed the day. I would not hesitate to charter with Mike again. And if bringing kids he is the man to help get them to love fishing.
