Ranging from skinny water flats fishing to offshore trolling and reef fishing, Captain Michael Ikemeier would feel blessed to share the experience of this beautiful state with you, so join him in St. Petersburg and have a great day fishing!
The boat you’ll be using is a 23’ Scout bay boat that can sit up to 4 anglers and that uses a 225 HP Yamaha engine. It’s got snorkeling gear, a livewell, uses modern navigation technology, and features a wireless trolling motor and an ice-box.
Not many charters offer you the range of fishing spots as Captain Michael does. From rivers and lakes to inshore and offshore waters to reefs, wrecks, flats, as well as the backcountry, you’ll have a wide choice of spots you can visit. The species offer is also big. You can catch Redfish, Snook, Kingfish, Mangrove Snapper, Hogfish, Tarpon, and many more. Using light and heavy tackle, you can try your hand at bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, as well as fly fishing. The fish you catch is yours to take home and you’re free to bring your kids on the trip.
From the complete fishing gear to drinks and fishing licenses, Captain Michael takes care of it all and he will even clean and fillet your catch for free. Yours is just to show up on time.

Awesome Day With Captain Mike!
Just finished an awesome 2 hour evening trip with Captain Mike and it exceeded expectations! Great communication leading up to the trip with Mike asking what we wanted to get out of the trip. He set realistic expectations with recent storms making it tougher to catch fish, but we ended up with around 5 Snook and 1 HUGE redfish, along with many other catches that came off the hook before we could net them. Mike was an excellent guide and very friendly and knowledgeable, and my son and I can’t wait to go again! I highly recommend this charter!

Awesome birthday gift
I have to say that we had a blast. I wanted my wife birthday to be special and it really did. Michael did an incredible job to make sure that we catch some fish. We end up catching at least 50+. Even we brought some very tasty seatrout home. Thank Mike for making our day! We learned so much. We can’t wait to go back. See next time Juan Carlos Kvedaras

Great Day on the Water
We had a good Sunday morning fishing trip with Captain Mike. It was myself, my brother, and my 12 year old daughter. We caught a lot of spotted seatrout, a Spanish mackerel, grunts, and other species. Captain Mike had good fishing spots and kept our lines in the water. He was great with my daughter, too, so a good option if you are fishing with younger ones. I recommend Captain Mike and would fish with him again.

Had a great time out on the boat with Mike - very knowledge and put us directly on the fish. We ended up catching trout and grunt that he cleaned for us and recommended a restaurant where we had it cooked over at the Wharf. Very enjoyable time with everything prepared and ready for us.
