You’ll fish from a 30’ boat that can carry up to 6 guests. It runs on a twin 300 HP Caterpillar engine and has got a full-featured navigation technology for fast locating the fish. There’s an onboard toilet, a livewell to provide live bait, as well as an ice-box to store your fish and drinks. For any assistance you may need, there’s going to be a first mate on board.
You can go after Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Cobia, Shark, Red Snapper, and a whole lot of other species. To catch them, you’ll be using light tackle to bottom fish, troll, and spin. This boat can take you up to 9 miles of state waters. Feel free to bring your kids with you and make your trip even better. You can choose whether you’ll be keeping or releasing your catch.
Captain William will supply you with all the fishing gear, catch cleaning, as well as fishing licenses. Just bring the food and drinks you like and you’ll be set to go.

A winning combination
10 Hour Trip Bottom/trolling on August 2, 2024
We passed a very good day on board with this crew. The boat was clean and comfortable. Captain Bill was great to keep us in the loop and kept the action going non-stop until we caught our limits. Our deckhand was on point all day keeping lines baited and getting fish in the cooler as soon as we pulled them in. We had plenty of cold water to fight off the heat of the day and even a beanbag chair over an AC vent! You betcha that was nice. I can see us coming back to Gulf Shores, AL next year for another vacation, but I can’t see booking a charter with anyone else other than Fish On Charters. This is the winning combination, without a doubt!

3/4 Day Trip – Bottom/Trolling (AM) on March 11, 2025
We had a great time out. Instead of fishing, we were catching!!! So many catches we lost count. Most of the fish were out of season but we did still manage to bring in a lot of the targeted ones including 2 nice Trigger fish. Every spot we hit, had something waiting to be hooked. Captain William and Jay of FISH ON know what they are doing. Will definitely book with them again next time.

Great Trolling
Half Day Trip – Trolling (AM) on July 26, 2024
We did a 4 hour trolling trip with Captain William. The boat and the crew were top notch. Even though we were warned we weren’t guaranteed catches with the trolling trip, all five us of came away with at least one catch. Trolling was a nice introduction to offshore fishing for us since we hadn’t been before. The crew were friendly and entertaining and the boat was what we expected. Definitely happy we went with Captain William verses one of the cheaper options. We will definitely be back to do an offshore trip with this crew.

8 Hour Trip Bottom / trolling on September 2, 2024
Captain Will and his mate Jayden were incredible! They worked very hard to put us on the fish and give us a great day on the water! They were personable, professional and fun to be around. We would have had a great day even if we hadn’t caught any fish, but, fortunately we were able to bring home enough fish to freeze and will last us quite awhile. We will definitely go back to Fish On for another trip as soon as possible!

5 Hour Trip – Bottom/Trolling (AM) on June 22, 2024
We booked a group of 6 with 3 teenagers. Captain Will and Jay were awesome and hyper attentive. Even though conditions have not been good for over a week they had a great plan. We hit up a few spots and got on some red snapper, but Captain Will made sure to move us around to find the fish fast. By the 3rd stop we wouldn’t drop a line without catching a big fish. We caught our limit and had a blast!
