Black Marlin Sportfishing
Make some memories in Herradura and go fishing with Black Marlin Sportfishing. With Captain Nigel at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Wahoo, Cubera Snapper, Broomtail Grouper, Yellowfin Tuna, Great Barracuda, and more, depending on the season. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish. Capt. Nigel also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Your adventure begins aboard a 28’ Apex Zodiak center console with room for 4 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Nigel will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
Your trip with Black Marlin Sportfishing is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
