200 Winston Salem Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451, United States

Start your Virginia Beach adventure in comfort and style aboard Fly'n Fish Sportfishing. Our vessel is a 54 foot Jim Smith custom sportfish. We offer a premium product which includes a well-appointed interior and top-of-the-line fishing gear in a spacious fishing cockpit. Captains Jake and Jim have been fishing the waters off Virginia Beach for over 25 years and love to share their passion for fishing with all our customers.

Updates
to the boat include a state-of-the-art Garmin suite with fishfinder, radar, GPS, fighting chair, and Bluetooth audio. Customers will have access to a galley refrigerator for food and drink storage as well as a built-in cooler in the cockpit.

A variety of trip options are available depending on the species targeted and selected trip length. Shorter trips stay near the shore and target species such as Spanish Mackerel, Spadefish, Cobia, Bluefish, and Redfish. Longer trips target wrecks out to 30 miles in search of Black Seabass or out to 75 miles in search of Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blue and White Marlin, Swordfish, and Tilefish. Species targeted on any trip are also dependent on the time of year and availability.

Mates work strictly for tips. Fish cleaning services are available upon return from a third-party vendor at an extra cost (set by them). All fishing equipment and licenses are covered by the boat, so you only need to pack some snacks and drinks for the day.

Just pick a date you want your adventure to start. Fly'n Fish Sportfishing is always ready to put you on the fish.

6 Hour Trip – Nearshore morning on July 17, 2024

Captain Jake and First Mate Bill know exactly what they are doing! Both are very polite and respectful. The boat had a very comfortable interior with a clean restroom and a refrigerator for your food. More than enough room for 6 anglers. A very, very well maintained vessel. We had three young boys who had been excited and hyped to go out and catch as much as they could. Jake and Bill kept the lines tight all 6 hours! The boys’ expectations were vastly exceeded!! We lost count of the fish after number 40. Spanish Mackerel and Red Drum ALL DAY. The boys were worn out and us dads were extremely satisfied after our trip. If you want to get down to business and reel’em in, THIS is the crew you want!
