South Texas Fishing Charters
Calaveras and Braunig Lake charters. South Texas Fishing Charters has over 10 years of experience in targeting freshwater species. The Captains experienced methods and techniques have made him, his crew, and their clients very successful in catching the fish of their dreams. Anglers of all skill levels are welcome to join. Every adventure can be adjusted to fit your needs, so bring your loved ones and enjoy together.
You’ll be fishing on a 22’ Carolina skiff that accommodates up to 6 guests. She’s powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine and a wireless trolling motor. You’ll always be on the right spot, as the boat is equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, and VHF radio that will help you navigate. The boat also features a live bait tank, a cooler, and downriggers.
There are half day and full day trips available year-round. On each trip, you can target Redfish, Catfish, Striped Bass, and White Bass (depending on the season ofcourse) using a variety of fishing techniques. The crew will clean your catch when you get back to the dock, but it’s customary to tip for this service.
All fishing equipment is included in the price. You need to prepare your fishing license in advance and pack some snacks and drinks for the day. Sunglasses and hats are recommended as well.

Great Adventure!!
The Captain did a great job getting us on fish really quick. The Capt knew it was the first time my grandsons were fishing from a boat. He did everything he could to make it an enjoyable and successful fishing trip for them. Had our first Redfish on the line in less than 20 minutes on the lake!! We limited out on Redfish for the day. Would highly recommend Capt Lawrence to my friends and family.

Captain Lawrence is terrific!
We had such a great time! Lawrence is just a great guy and wiirked to put us on the fish! Our two young Grandsons were onboard and got so excited catching all those Reds. Capt Lawrence was so attentive and encouraging to the grandsons. Again, he is a great guy and we had an awesome time!

Our Captain was awesome! We limited out on reds today thanks to his hard work and professionalism to get us on the fish. He has a "never give up" attitude and was encouraging the entire time! We will definitely book with S. Texas again!
