+27Captain Corbett welcomes you aboard his 34’ Bonner custom boat. He offers a multitude of trips, so there is something for everyone to choose from. Heading out up to 40 miles and targeting a variety of fish in each area, Capt. Corbett and will help you hook the trophy fish of your dreams.
His boat is 13’ wide, so there is plenty of room for 6 anglers to fish simultaneously and not cross rods. The cockpit is almost 170 square feet, plenty of space to relax. Reelax Fishing Charters have comfortable sleeping quarters, dining quarters, and air conditioning aboard the boat, so that their customers have all the comforts of home while they are catching fish.
For beginners, the 4 and 5-hour trips are best. You will stay within sight of the land, so waters are likely to be smoother for the younger anglers on board. Capt. Corbett offers flexibility with the trips - if you wish to spend more time sightseeing for wild horse and dolphins he is happy to accommodate! You will target Bluefish, Flounder, and Spanish Mackerel.
For more experienced anglers, the longer trips will give you plenty of time to target specific species and reel them in. Rods and reels are provided, but electric reels are available on request only, so you can target bottom fish from the deep!
The Captain is happy to have you spearfishing, bowfishing or fly fishing on board. However, equipment for these techniques is not provided, so please bring your own along! You can target Tuna, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, King Mackerel and more!
All that’s left to do is grab your snacks, sunscreen and polarized sunglasses! A 20% tip is expected at the end of your trip. Capt. Corbett will see you soon for your biggest fishing adventure!

Shark fishing trip
Half Day Trip (Sunset) on July 26, 2024
We went offshore for a 4 hour trip, and we were able to land 1 shark. We had 2 kids aboard, and they were so excited! We hooked something very big, but after fighting it for about a half an hour, it got off the hook. Being avid outdoorsmen, we knew that things like that could happen, but the crew kept trying. Captain Adam and his 1st Mate Charlie did a great job! Thanks Reelax!! See you next year!

Half Day Trip (Early AM) on August 13, 2024
My son, wife and I booked last minute for the early morning half-day, conditions were nice and favorable. The boat and crew were ready to go when we got there. We left the dock, motored right on out and the lines went in. It wasn’t very long and we were catching fish! We were on fish all day long. Captain and mate were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time!

The captain grew up fishing in eastern North Carolina with his family night and day. Fishing is and has always been his life! He worked for a marine assistance company for years and was responsible for saving people on the water. He earned numerous lifesaving awards from the US Coast Guard as well as many other awards for Efforts Above and Beyond. The captain has always worked on the water, doing everything from running commercial fishing boats to running commercial assistance boats as well as private yachts. Not only he'll put you on the fish but will also ensure a safe trip and a good time for everybody!
