Luis was a phenomenal captain considering he also doubled as the deck hand. We had 4 to 5 poles constantly in the water , even with some winds and a short trip we snagged two tuna in the first hour . Went out to 5 thousand feet and had a mahi mahi on, but he got off right away. Probably wouldn’t have happened of Luis had a deckhand . Still a phenomenal experience and he knows the area very well.  Also, made time for us to stop for arch pictures.  10/10 and will definitely be fishing with Luis again! We had a great day with Luis on the Never Know. He knows the local waters and gets on the fish quickly. He is also a great guy. We hooked 5 Mahi Mahi and it was a blast. The boat is safe, well equipped and ready to fish hard.  Overall this was a great experience for a very fair price. Some things to know, (1) unlike charters in USA, you need to buy your fishing license prior - do it ASAP to save time. (2) you need to buy live bait so bring cash for boat (3) this is by no means critical (as I am the one in Mexico) but Luis is not really conversational in English, so communication is sometimes a little tricky (but totally manageable). Fun day! Would do it again.

Jose is an excellent captain and Vladamir is a good deck hand. I recommend 2 fishing trips whenever in Cabo because one is always epic and the other is very good. Each day is never the same.

Jose is very upbeat with a positive attitude. He knows the area and gets into the action very fast. He was receptive when I told him what we hoped to achieve.
The Never Know is a very good boat. The engines are new and very quiet. Outriggers, lures and gear is quality.

We saw Whales, Dolphins, Marlin and Turtles.

We would recommend the Never Know to anyone. 

What a trip! We told Captain Jose what we were after and he put us on em. We brought our own gear, but Jose had plenty of high end rods and reels along with an assortment of jigs to use. We were booked for a trip from 6 AM till 12 in the afternoon but due to weather we were not able to arrive till 7 AM. And we had to be back by 11am sharp to get back on the cruise ship. Captain Jose was very accommodating and kind even as I was having to make changes up until the night before. When we arrived the boat was there and ready, they personally took me to buy my fishing license for my wife and I and then took us to get bait. Within the first 45 minutes we had three Dorado on the boat and we’re having a blast. Captain took time to take all the pictures we wanted with the fish and kept a clean boat and all the gear in working order, ready to get the next fish! I have quite a bit of experience fishing but my wife does not and he was able to help her land a few Dirado herself which was a blast to see. On the way back he took us to the arches and made sure to get super close so that we are able to get some great pictures. This was at my wife’s request and I really appreciated it and save me an extra trip that I didn’t have time for. He had us back to the dock right on time and we are able to board our ship without issue. Our trip was 9-21-2022 and there’s nothing I would’ve traded it for, best trip we could have booked. The only change I would’ve made was having more time to spend on the boat! Thank you Captain Jose!
