If fishing Great Lakes (Erie and Ontario) or the mighty Niagara River is on your bucket list, look no further than River Born Fishing Company Inc. Captain Michael Trifiletti will be your guide, offering years of knowledge and experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Smallmouth Bass, Steelhead, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Chinook Salmon, Walleye, Freshwater Drum, Musky, and anything else that bites. You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Mike will bring you aboard an 20’ Alumacraft Competitor fishing boat with a capacity for 3 passengers. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and Live bait is included. Anglers of all ages are welcome!
You'll need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks and food aren’t included. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Full Day Trip
Best possible experience
Mike was excellent to work with. Our original date was a no-go because of really bad weather, and he was very flexible in rescheduling the trip. He paid great attention to conditions before the trip, and made decisions day-of that landed us some really phenomenal catches. It was obvious from the start that he is a professional. On top of being effective, he was very friendly and made his clients feel very welcome. We would highly recommend him, and our next charter adventure will be through him.

Excellent Experience!
My husband and I did a half day charter with Mike at River Born Fishing Company on the Niagara River and it was overall an awesome experience. Mike was super informative and gave us a variety of options for fish species as well as opportunities to use different fishing methods. We each caught walleye and lake trout, and were able to take the walleye home - which he filleted and bagged for us! 10/10 would recommend!

Mike was a great guide!
I would like to state that Mike was an amazing guide. I have to state why I rated a 4/5. IThe weather did not cooperate. However, we rate Mike a 5/5. He tried very hard to accomodate us and was very flexible. He had great communication. He was interested in not just having us catch fish but teaching us how to catch the fish. He was friendly and made good conversation. We would definitely book with him again and hope the weather cooperates next time.

My brothers and I went on the lower Niagra river today with Captain Mike. Despite the wind and cold, he still put us on the fish and was very personable and patient with us while targeting certain species. I would definitely recommend a trip with Mike.
