Capt. Shad's Coastal Charters
At Captain Shad’s Coastal Charters, we proudly offer fishing with a Southern draw on the beautiful North and South Carolina Coastline.
Captain Shad is a proficient angler, who prides himself on not only his fishing skills but on his hospitality. And, did we mention, he will keep you entertained with his Shad stories?
Our trips are family-friendly, and we happily welcome children on the boat.
You will be fishing on a sea-worthy, restored 23’ Triton Sea Hunt center console, which is a perfect fit for up to 4 guests. She is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine, and uses GPS, fishfinder, and has radio technology for navigation. And, she is equipped with outriggers and downriggers for optimal fishing. The boat’s got an ice box to store your fish and drinks, and also features a livewell.
The coastal area offers a huge variety of fish to target; Flounder, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum, King Mackerel, and multiple species of Sharks just to name a few.
You will use both light and heavy tackle and a variety of bait. You can keep your catch or catch and release, it is up to you.
Captain Shad provides the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures, as well as fishing licenses, and Shad will even clean and fillet your catch for free.
