Salty Noceans Charters

Nothing beats Destin fishing! So join Salty Noceans Charters on this unique opportunity and catch the fish of your dreams. After decades of recreational fishing, Captain Donnie has decided to start running fishing trips 5 years ago. He moved to the luckiest fishing village in the world and the rest is history. He’s ready to put you on fish, no matter what your skill level is.

The adventure starts on a 26’ Sea Fox that accommodates up to 6 guests. This center console is powered by twin 150 HP Yamaha engines and reaches the speed of 45 knots. Besides navigational and safety gear, the boat features 2 coolers, and a live bait tank. The boat is rigged with state of the art Minn Kota trolling motor which allows you to position directly over the spot. This allows for more time fishing, and less time trying to keep the boat on the spot. Industry game changer!

Destin is a great area for trolling, King and Spanish Mackerels and Bonito are plentiful when in season. If you head out further offshore, you can also catch Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. But when Snapper season rolls around, well, there is nothing like catching the big Reds. And where Snapper live, so do Triggerfish, Grouper, and other species.

Capt. Donnie is very flexible when it comes to rescheduling or adjusting the trip, so get in touch. All fishing licenses and equipment are included in the price, as well as bottled water. Feel free to bring some snacks and sun protection.

Captain Donnie takes great pleasure in sharing his passion for fishing with others. Come along and have some fun at Salty Noceans Charters!

My father was in the Navy and he loved to be on the water and fish. As a kid, we would go to Panama City and camp in a VW bus. We would spend our time fishing the Gulf. I spent many days fishing for Catfish, Bream, Crappie, Trout, and Bass in the freshwater lakes and streams in my native North Georgia. But none of that seemed to compare to the salt air, blue water, and catching the biggest fish I had ever caught. I was "hooked". Every opportunity I had I would head to Destin to fish. Fast forward many years, my wife and I got married on the beach at San Destin. We both loved the area and became determined to relocate here. In 2015 we purchased a home in Niceville, downsized dramatically, and now make it our home. Fortunately for me, my wife loves to fish, and we head out any chance we can get.
