Spend a beautiful day of fishing in Saginaw Bay and have a fun and enjoyable trip together with Captain Big Bobber Charters. You and Captain Robert Dunning will meet in Linwood, Michigan and head out to the bay to search for some prized fish to catch. The grounds are fish-rich and the nature is breathtaking, so come aboard and have a memorable fishing experience with Captain Big Bobber Charters!
Your trip starts on a 26’ Wellcraft Coastal cuddy cabin that can sit up to 5 guests. It runs on twin 200 HP Yamaha engines, is equipped with downriggers, spearfishing gear, a fighting chair, and a livewell, and also uses modern navigation technology for a safe and quick trip to the fish. The boat’s got a portable toilet and features a refrigerator.
You and Captain Robert will be searching Saginaw Bay for Walleye, Chinook Salmon, as well as Pink Salmon. To attract them, you’ll be trolling and ice fishing using both light and heavy tackle. You get to keep all the fish you catch and you’re free to bring kids with you aboard.
Captain Robert will cover you for all the rods, reels, tackle, and lures. He’ll also provide snacks and drinks and will clean and fillet your catch, at no extra charge. You should just bring your fishing licenses before you arrive at the dock.
Captain Robert Dunning is a Marine Corps veteran that has a passion for fishing, and he looks forward to sharing a fantastic fishing experience with you!

We took a mother-and-son trip and had the absolute best time walleye fishing! From the start, we were set up in a great spot and were catching fish right away. The crew was incredibly kind and patient—especially with my 5-year-old, who had a blast reeling in some big ones. Captain and first mate Bret were experienced and ready to ensure our success. My kiddo even got to take home a perch to have mounted, which was such a special moment for him. They cleaned all our fish and made everything so easy from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family friendly and memorable fishing experience!

We had a great time and caught a lot of fish. The captain and first mate are nice and thoughtful. They contacted us the day before and asked if we would come an hour early because it will be a very hot day. They did an exceptional job at finding the right spot and setting up for success. They also did a great job at preserving the fish and filleting it.

We had a great family trip with Big Bobber and First Mate Bret on Saturday, July 19th. We started hitting walleye right away. The guys really knew where to find the fish. We were able to fill our limit, and the guys were experts at getting the fish cleaned up for us. Highly recommend.
