Sonrise Fishing Charters 

My two young boys went fishing and loved it! Captain Bill was very friendly and patient and tried to put them in all the prefect fishing holes. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking to book a fishing charter in Hilton Head or nearby areas.

Despite the water being low and the weather hot, Captain Bill made the day a trip that my boys will always remember!

Captain Bill was a fun, informative and patient captain. He tried his best to ensure we get a good experience but the fish were not behaving as expected :) our 10 year old son requested a fishing experience. Captain Bill taught him how to hold the rod, cast it and fish. Our son was the only one who caught a fish which made his and our day! If we go back to SC, we’re definitely booking a trip with captain Bill!

Bill made every effort to make our fishing trip special for the kids. It was a slow day bite wise, but we weee on the fish. He took the boat to every spot he knew of trying to find some hungry fish. We ended up catching some great redfish and flounder. Bill fished hard, but also involved the kids as much as possible. The whole family had a blast

Bill took care of our boys like they were his own grandchildren. He took us out and put us on some MONSTER Drum the minute he reached his destination. 5 monster fish in just three hours. We fought those drum like we were fighting Mike Tyson! Capt Bill…You became a legend to two teenage boys and two proud parents! God bless you, Sir!

We had the privilege of having Captain Bill for the fist time and he made our trip an absolute blast! He was very attentive to not only keeping rigged at all times but had us on a great red fish bite during a tough summer time trip. Most of all he had us all laughing while teaching us aspects of the hhi fishery that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great trip with an even better person as a captain! Thanks Bill!

I just wanted to take my 14 year old son out on a boat and spend time with him. (I kind of work too much). The blessing we received was Captain Bill waiting on the dock for us with a huge smile and great sense of humor. We talked about our family and our faith as well as we caught some fish. It was the perfect day. God is so good and I love that he connected us to Captain Bill.

My fiancée and I came to Hilton Head Island for a quick getaway as summer comes to a close for us and we decided to do an inshore charter for some fun. We got more than just that with Captain Bill. First thing I gotta say he is as nice as they come. Him and I talked about fishing before hand so I knew what to expect before we got out there, and we had a blast. He will have you laughing your head off while waiting on that next bite. I do a good bit of fishing and have some experience inland fishing, but my fiancée does not. Captain Bill took such good care of her to make sure she always had a line in the water (he jokingly said it was him and her against me 😂). He took his time trying to make her comfortable which I really appreciated. While it was a little too hot for some crazy action on the water, we did catch a redfish and some sharks. I had something large snap my wire leader and Katey missed a good bite that was towards the end of our trip. We had such a good time with Captain Bill and hope to see him again in the future. We will be back! Wonderful time on the water!!
