Your trip for the day will be a restored 34' Blackfin flybridge that can accommodate up to 8 guests. It's powered by twin 315 HP Cummins engines and uses all the modern navigation gear, which includes GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio systems. The boat has got a flybridge, kitchen, bed, and a toilet. It's equipped with outriggers, downriggers, snorkeling gear, tuna tubes, a fighting chair, and a livewell. You'll have a first mate at your disposal during the trip as well as a multimedia system, a refrigerator, and an ice-box.
You can expect to catch Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Sailfish, and Amberjack. In order to reel them in, you can use deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, as well as drift and kite fishing. The captain uses both light and heavy tackle. Captain Ariel was not present this trip and he did not let me know this before showing up at 7am so I had to assume his crew was telling the truth that he could not make it even though 7 hours earlier he returned a message using fishing booker. This didn't make my wife feel very comfortable. A simple text or message through fishing booker would have made the experience a lot better. However, the youngest deckhand was awesome with tremendous effort, and friendliness even though we only landed one small fish. I believe there is a lot of room for improvement with the attitude and demeanor of the other deckhand, Samuel. Fishing is fishing and it was a nice boat ride, but choose a charter whos advertised captain plans on being there or conveys to his clients that he won't beforehand. Overall I'm gland I enjoyed a day on the water but I can't recommend his services to a friend.
