You'll be heading out aboard 'Reel King' a 27' Sportcraft offshore fishing vessel. Aboard 'Reel King' you'll find a private bathroom, top-of-line safety and navigational gear, state of the art Garmin electronics, 15 HP Mercury ProKicker for trolling, and two Standard Horizon VHF radios to keep you in constant contact with the Coast Guard and other captains.
No matter whether you're a new or experienced angler, your captain and first mate will guide you to success! Team Reel King is truly a hands-on charter, sharing a lifetime of knowledge and keeping you involved in the art of fishing!
All the necessary fishing equipment will be included in the charter. Fish cleaning for morning trips is available at one of the local cleaners of your choice or fish can be picked up at the dock for your convenience (fish cleaning is the customer's responsibility). You only need to pack some food and drinks for the day.

Craig was our Captain on the Reel King Charter. Our party included one in a tI j and one who had fractured and dislocated an elbow just 2 days prior. . Craig did all he could ro be helpful and make them as comfortable as possible. We wanted Walleye and he took us right to where they were. We caught a 25 inch Walleye and others. Also several very large catfish that we did not keep. Our boat was awesome and fully equipped with all the bells and whistles. Book your next charter with Craig on the Reel King . Captain Craig was an amazing captain! He was super friendly and chatted with us the whole time but on top of that he taught us how to get the lines ready and into the water. It was like being part of his crew which my boys loved. We didnt catch as many fish as i hoped but we still got several in the boat and a few even got away!! Would highly recommend him!!!

Captain Craig was great. He put us on fish and was very nice and patient with us and our 3 kids. He was very informative and kept us entertained the entire time. He had the cleaners waiting for us as we were coming inland. We would definitely recommend him to anyone in the area looking to take a charter out.

I have been fishing my whole life. Started fishing with family on inland lakes in northern Indiana. This led to fishing Lake Michigan with my grandfather in my early teens. Then we moved the boat to Bass Haven Marina on Lake Erie. Spent the next decade casting for Walleye and eventually, taking the trolling skills learned from Lake Michigan and applied them to Lake Erie as the water cleaned up. I spent off the water time raising a family, farming, in management, maintenance, and eventually being self-employed. My family operates C & K Greenhouses in the spring, on our farm. This allows me the opportunity to charter full-time during the summer. Reel King Charters LLC. is a family business founded in 2018 by brothers Capt Doug and Capt Craig Rothgeb. I am excited to fulfill a childhood dream of being a professional fisherman that can share a lifetime of knowledge with both the new and experienced anglers on the boat.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
