Top Notch Sportfishing LLC is located in Sheboygan and offers to show you a memorable time on Lake Michigan. The crew is fishing from May through September and uses a top-notch vessel and equipment.
This crew will do its best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 to 10-hour trips, mainly fishing for Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Lake Trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle and trolling.
Your fishing adventure starts on our 37' Tiara boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. The boat has all the comforts of home including a leather couch and, most importantly, a full bathroom. It is fully rigged with the best fishing and safety equipment, including an ice-box.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. You will need to purchase a fishing license and a Great Lakes Trout stamp through the Wisconsin DNR. A two-day license for $14 is the most affordable option. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

5 Hour Trip Mid Day AM on June 19, 2025 • 6 adults • 2 childrenDarren and Cody were great. Boat and fishing gear were clean and well organized. They made sure the our boys wore life jackets and safety was priority. They were also meticulous about the deck being clean before and after all catches. We had a mid-day trip and didn’t expect much action but each of our party reeled in a good catch. Of course it would have been great to have more on the line but they can’t completely control this. They did entertain our kids on the trip and educated us about the species and area. Looking forward to grilling and smoking our catch. We would book again!

We were able to leave slightly earlier due to an impending storm and the crew was ready to go. The first hour+ we caught nothing, BUT they were definitely trying! Cody even let my son help him on deck reel in so they could rebait or put away, my son loved it! When they were putting things away, we caught one!! My son (with Cody’s help) reeled in a whopper of an 11.5lb King Salmon!! It made his day!

It's always a good sign when you need to buy a bigger cooler afterward. From the start, Darren and Sammy were fantastic. Darren put our safety first, especially when the weather conditions made it unsafe for our originally planned trip. He made the tough call to postpone, but we were able to reschedule a couple of days later—and it was absolutely worth the wait! These guys really know their stuff! They had us reeling in so many fish that my family and I were busy the entire time. The boat was spotless and super comfortable, making it a perfect trip for the whole family. My son (14) and daughter (10) had an absolute blast. Darren and Sammy were amazing with the kids, making sure they were comfortable and enjoying themselves throughout the trip. This was truly a memorable experience for all of us! Can’t wait for our next trip with them! Highly recommend that you find a time to go out with these guys!

Definitely recommend taking Dramamine ahead of time. We cut our trip short due to us and not them. The guys were awesome. They work hard. We definitely caught some good fish and would have caught more had we not went back early. Would definitely do it again and recommend them

We had booked this charter for my Dad's 60th Birthday. It was absolutely an amazing time. The crew worked hard to help us catch fish and the boat was immaculate. Cleanest charter we have ever been on. We already booked a trip for next year before we even got off the boat!

Epic fishing, at one point all 5 of us had a fish on at the same time. Caught our limit of 25 in abut 3 1/2 hours. In the first hour and a half we were at 15. I know not every day is going to be this good but these guys definitely know how to fish.

The captain started guiding at a young age when he realized he was born to fish! He loves being on the water as much as possible and he also found that he enjoys teaching and watching someone else catch fish just as much as he does. The captain is passionate about fishing and has a tremendous amount of respect for the outdoors. He wants to see the fishery only get better and follow the rules and regulations in place for protecting the great outdoors. He fishes for many types of Wisconsin fish, his favorites are fishing for Salmon and Trout on Lake Michigan. The captain also loves to fish for Muskie and Northern Pike in Northern Wisconsin.
