The boat you’ll use is a 26’ Glacier Bay 260 Canyon Runner catamaran with plenty of open deck space for 6 guests to enjoy and roam around. Powered by twin 150 HP Evinrude Etec engines, the boat will take you to your fishing destination in comfort at speeds up to 40 knots. The boat uses modern navigation technology, has got a portable head in the console if the need arises, and features a wireless trolling motor and an ice-box. The onboard fishing equipment includes outriggers, snorkeling gear, and a livewell. Also, you’ll have the help of a first mate during the trip.
The species you’ll target include anything from various Snapper and Grouper to Kingfish, Mahi, Shark, Triggerfish, Cobia, and more. You never know what sea monster may be on the other end of the line. You’ll catch fish by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and drift fishing. You’re free to keep the fish you catch. Kids of 13 and up are welcome to come aboard but arrangements are possible for younger kids as well, so please check with the captain before booking.
Captain Andy provides all the tackle, bait, safety gear, and licenses, meaning you should only bring the snacks and drinks of your choice. Keep in mind that besides regular trips, you can have a customized trip ranging from 6 to 10 hours which will include a combination of any of the water activities and fishing styles you want. Just message the captain and he’ll work out the price according to the trip parameters.
