Fish Often Charters is run by Captain Victor Medico and offers light tackle inshore and nearshore fishing trips. Captain Vic has been a resident of Cape Coral since 1991 and is USCG licensed and insured. During your fishing experience you’ll get to explore the intracoastal waterways and backwater tributaries of SWFL.
You will be fishing aboard a 20’ 1988 Proline Flat Back (restored in 2016) powered by a four-stroke Yamaha 115 HP engine, designed to navigate the skinny waters of SWFL, where some of the best fishing awaits! Apart from all the necessary navigation and safety gear, the boat has live wells for storing all the bait you’ll need, as well as a i-pilot trolling motor to sneak up on unsuspecting fish.
Captain Vic specializes in inshore fishing, so you will be going into the shallow waters and flats where fish such as Redfish, Snook, Trout, and Tarpon among others can be found. Both live bait and artificial lures and jigs will be used for the best results. All types of anglers are welcome, it doesn’t matter if you’re a veteran angler or a beginner in the fishing world.
The price of the trip includes all of the necessary rods, reels, and terminal tackle. Feel free to bring some drinks and snacks for the cooler that is always full of ice. Polarized sunglasses and sunscreen is recommended for maximum comfort.
Captain Vic looks forward to making your next trip a memorable one! Just pick one of the trips with Fish Often Charters!
