We had an absolutely incredible experience with Hudson Fishing Charter! From start to finish, everything was top-notch.
Captain Mike is a true pro—within minutes of getting lines in the water, he had us right on the fish. His knowledge of the area and instincts for where the action would be were spot-on all day long. We were reeling them in left and right!
Equally impressive was John, the first mate, who worked non-stop with a smile on his face. He was incredibly attentive, helping with bait, gear, and keeping everything running smoothly—he didn’t stop moving the entire trip. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great time. Both Captain Mike and John catered to my two sons (11 and 13) making them feel comfortable and in control during their first charter fishing trip.
If you’re looking for a fun, professional, and productive day on the water, I can’t recommend Hudson Fishing Charter enough. We’ll definitely be back! 🎣🔥

We had such an unforgettable time out on the water! A huge shoutout to our amazing captain, Mike — he truly went above and beyond to make our first fishing trip an experience to remember. From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel comfortable and excited, even as total beginners. Mike is not only incredibly knowledgeable about fishing, but he also took the time to teach us everything we needed to know with patience and enthusiasm.
He shared so many helpful tips with my husband, which really added a special touch to the day. We also brought our two young kids — who can be quite a handful — and Mike was incredibly patient, kind, and engaging with them. He made sure everyone felt included, safe, and most importantly, had fun!
This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a total beginner like us, we can’t recommend booking with Mike enough. Thank you for making our family outing such a memorable adventure!

Once in a lifetime fishing trip!
5 Hour Trip – Inshore on August 11, 2025 • 6 adults
Captain Mike and his first mate Jon were amazing! Super friendly and made our experience 100% unforgettable. Very knowledgeable team and we’re definitely out to make sure we had a great time. We hit a dry spot for a little bit because of the tides and we started to hit fish again when it was time to go back in and they stayed out for extra time just so we caught some more fish. I would definitely recommend this charter and I’ve been on so many others.

Captain Mike worked very hard to make sure our trip was enjoyable
4 Hour Trip – Inshore on June 24, 2025 • 6 adults
His main boat was out of commission, so he had a plan B, but with the temps looking to be near 100 and my health putting me at risk he came up with a plan C and we had a wonderful day of fishing. Our group of six caught several fish each and I even hit one on the head when my bait went down. Great day. Thank you Captain Mike.

Captain Mike and first mate John made this a memorable fishing trip for our 3 kids. It was a little choppy and weather wasn’t great, but everyone managed to catch a fish! Fun was had by all. Mike and John are very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend!
