Big Bite Charters invites you to come to Garibaldi, Oregon and explore its beautiful waters full of various fish species. Together with Captain Demar Hagger, a friendly angler with vast experience, you can travel inshore, nearshore, as well as offshore and have lots of fun trying to make a good catch. Captain Demar is there to help you have a terrific time on the water, so pick a day that suits you and join him in Garibaldi for a true fishing adventure!
You will fish from a 30’ Thunder Jet aluminum fishing boat that can accommodate 6 guests. This mighty boat runs on triple 175 HP Suzuki engines, uses full-featured navigation technology, and is equipped with downriggers and a livewell. The boat features a portable toilet, a multimedia system, and an ice-box. There will even be a first mate on board to give you any help you may need.
Using light and heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, spin, as well as jig in order to attract fish. The species you will target include Albacore Tuna, Coho Salmon, Crab, Halibut, and Lingcod. You can choose whether you will keep or release the fish you catch and you are free to bring kids aboard.
Captain Demar will take care of all the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, and drinks. The only things you should bring on your trip are licenses and the food of your choice.

Special 5 hours trip for Drew And Charlie
He did me a favor
I only had one day left at the coast and everyone was booked or crossed out. So i messaged him and offered him a big tip to take me on a late 4 hourlate trip. From noon-5:00. And we limited on rockfish and caught a halibut. Excellent fishing. Excellent captain.

Full Day Trip – Crabbing
Great experience!
This was our fist trip fishing the ocean. We originally had just the crab trip booked but Demar the captain talked us into rock fishing as well. We are so glad he did. We got on the boat at 6 set crab pots and then set out to fish. By 9 all 4 of us had caught our limit. Had a really great time with my boys. Demar and his crew are top notch and they know their stuff. We will definitely be back again to go out on the all day halibut trip. Don't hesitate to book a trip with Big Bite fishin!

Full Day Trip – Halibut Inshore
Halibut in shore trip
The captain and crew were extremely friendly and went above and beyond. We were so happy to be out and they both made sure we had a great time and got our fish and crab. While we didn't get halibut (they just weren't biting) we got our share of fish and crabs. So friendly and made sure we we're comfortable the whole time and had great gear for us. Highly recommended.

We had a great day of fishing with the whole family. Demar was friendly and knowledgeable and kept us on top of the fish all day. Boat is very modern and well kept up.

3/4 Day Trip Rockfishing
My sons biggest request for his birthday trip was to charter a boat and go fishing. Captain Demar and 1st mate Adrian were friendly and knowledgeable and made it a memorable trip. The boat is brand new, super clean and FAST! All of the equipment was well kept and ready-to-go, so there was no waiting or prep. They got us on the fish quickly and kept us on them all day. We caught our limit in about an hour and spent the rest of the time catching and releasing. In all we left with over 25 fish! Including a few lingcod. I highly recommend Captain Demar and Big Bite Fishin Charters!!
