If you are looking for the chance to do some river fishing and stock up on fish, why not visit the quaint town of Lebanon, Tennesee?! In that area, you’ll find the Cumberland River with its many waterways and the J Percy Priest Reservoir. Once there, contact Roscoe’s Guide service to show you around. Captain Chris Pidgeon will take you under his wing, and he’ll share his passion for fishing with you.
Hop aboard the 24’ SeaArk, center console model from 2018, which is spacious enough to accommodate groups of up to 3 guests. The boat is fitted with a single Suzuki engine with 250 HP, and it can reach top speeds of 45 kn. You’ll be zooming across the riverfronts easily. In case you need a stealthier approach, you can use the wireless trolling motor. Fishfinding equipment is also available.
This charter specializes in river fishing and lake fishing. You can go after Striped Bass and Catfish, you can target delicious Crappie, and even test your skills with yummy Walleye. A variety of fishing techniques are at your disposal which includes light and heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, and drift fishing.
Be sure to get your Tennesse fishing license before the trip, as the guide service doesn’t cover it. As for everything else the crew will take care of it. The necessary fishing gear, lures, and bait will be waiting for you on board, and for a more pleasant experience, the crew offers refreshments, snacks, and even lunch. If you get lucky you get to keep your catch, and someone will help you with cleaning. Children are welcome.
Spend a refreshing day in the wild and get yourself a chance to bag some fresh fish with Roscoe’s Guide Service.

3/4 Day Trip
Met with Capt. Chris day before the trip, my wife, son and myself found Chris to be a very personable and positive person. Despite the fish having lockjaw, even though we were marking a good amount of fish, we found out the reason it's called fishing and not called catching. Being a long time avid fisherman myself, I know that sometimes this is just the way it is. We were able to enjoy the local sites from the boat and the weather ended up being much better than predicted. Capt. Chris tried several locations with similar results. Going much above what was contracted for, Chris actually took us out the following day for an additional try in another section of the lake with "Fishing" being the word of the day. We were able to see a varied section of Tennessee from the water and got a bit of schooling on the scenery along the way with tidbits of local history thrown in. All in all we had a very enjoyable trip and would definitely seek out Captain Chris for another try for the "Elusive Stripers of Tennessee". Thanks Chris for a nice time fishing, (and the "HOT" chicken tenders).
