Toni Sportfishing Charter is located in Hvar and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.
Captain Toni, a Garmin and Pure fishing pro staff member, will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 to 10-hour trips, mainly fishing for Dentex, Amberjack, Common Pandora, John Dory, Tuna, and Dolphin, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and popping.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 25’ Bayliner Trophy boat that can safely take up to 5 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet and an ice-box.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. You will share the catch with the crew, contact the skipper before the trip if you have any questions about keeping the catch. The boat will be supplied with snacks and drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the skipper know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

Fishing was slow, but Captain Toni was brilliant
Toni arrived on time, picked us up from our hotel and took us to many spots. The fishing was very slow, but Toni tried everything to help us catch fish which we eventually did. Not the monster fish we had dreamt of, but a couple of nice fish anyway. Toni could not have been more accommodating in trying to help us catch fish, and I would recommend a trip out with Toni anytime. Great day out, we really enjoyed the trip and Toni’s company

Amazing Big Game Trip with Captain Toni!
My wife and I had a wonderful time fishing with Captain Toni for Big Game and Tuna! He was so incredibly easy to work with, being flexible with changes in weather, and his kindness and passion for fishing led to us catching a number of different species including pink snapper, red scorpion fish , and a trophy size Dentex! The Tuna fishing was tough today, but we still had such a beautiful time on the Adriatic. We would definitely recommend Captain Toni and hopefully are able to fish with him again on our next visit to Hvar!

I have fished with lots of captains/guides over the years. Toni is the type of captain that anyone would love to fish with - easy going, fun and committed to trying to catch fish. A perfect family adventure in Hvar
We recently enjoyed a fantastic fishing boat trip with Captain Toni, and it was an unforgettable experience for our family of four. With two boys aged 5 and 10, and not much fishing experience, we were a bit nervous about how things would go. But from our very first chat, Toni made us feel completely at ease. Locals had already spoken highly of him, so we knew we were in great hands. Throughout the day, Toni was amazing with our kids—patient, kind, and always encouraging. He was super flexible, open to our suggestions, and adapted the trip to suit us. While we didn’t have much luck with trolling, our luck turned around with jigging. We ended up catching plenty of fish, including a medium-sized John Dory, Little Tunny, Pink Snapper, and Red Snapper. It was thrilling for all of us, and the boys were absolutely delighted. Since we were staying at a hotel, Toni even took the time to clean the fish for us so we could have it cooked later. His attention to detail and genuine care made the experience feel so special. We all had an incredible time, and our boys can’t wait to go out fishing again. If you’re visiting Hvar and want a memorable day on the water, we can’t recommend Captain Toni enough. Making great memories!
My wife and I booked a tuna fishing trip with Captain Toni out of Hvar. We were in Croatia for our honeymoon and I wanted to share a hobby of mine with my wife. A thunderstorm rolled in on the day of, captain Toni was responsive by messaging us and letting us know that the outing may need to be rescheduled for the next day. Luckily we went out the next day in attempt to find some tuna. I told Toni beforehand that I would like to try for tuna, but would love to catch anything that the Adriatic sea had to offer if the tuna wasn't biting. Over the course of the day Toni took us to various fishing spots in order to try for different fish species, as well as chasing tuna around bait balls. Towards the end we managed to catch a handful of red snapper and a john Dory. We both enjoyed our trip fishing, drinking, enjoying Toni's company and learning more about croatia. Toni went above and beyond by getting us to a spot to catch some fish and then making sure we had accomodations to eat what we caught. This trip was one of my favorite memories about croatia, it turned into the best meal we had in Croatia and I had a great time hanging out with Toni in the boat. I recommend Captain Toni to anyone who would like to fish the Adriatic. We are both grateful for our experience with him. Cheers!
