Amazeen Outdoors invites all dedicated anglers for a trip on the St. Croix River (and many more). Together with an experienced guide, you'll be pursuing smallmouth bass and musky while quietly floating through serenity. The guide will make sure you have an memorable and enjoyable time on the water. Make sure to grab your sunscreen and enjoy the comradery on the boat!
Your boat for the day will be a 16' ClackaCraft drift boat or 14' River Rat fishing raft. Either will accommodate up to 2 anglers. The drift boat offers more comfort and some additional space. For anglers who are dedicated with exceptional balance, we recommend the small raft. Both our vessels offer unique utility offering access to remote water.
As you float the lovely rivers of Wisconsin and enjoy their charming surroundings, you and your guide will be searching for Smallmouth Bass and the occasional Musky. Cratering towards fly anglers but conventional anglers are welcome. We practice catch and release. Some circumstances will allow for you to keep your catch.
Message from the captain:
"Fly fishing during the summer months in Wisconsin is something special. As the water warms in our lakes the fishing declines. More pleasure cruisers and jet skies show up and it is hard to find unpressured water. This drove me to find places that offered solitude and unpressured fish. I found that rivers are often overlooked. I love to share my passion for fly fishing. The connection an angler develops to his quire unprecedented. Turning a hook, fur, and feathers into a successful fishing outing. Teaching others and showing people how to success on their own is why I started Amaazen Outdoors."
Your guide will provide you with all the fly fishing equipment you'll need, including rods, reels, flies and gear. Before you embark on your adventure, make sure to bring valid fishing licenses.
Come enjoy a day on the water on our beautiful rivers chasing smallmouth and muskies (or Spring Trout Fishing)

First trip to Minnesota with my son and out first time going after muskies. Brian was very knowledgeable and patient. He was bummed that we couldn't catch one of the big ones, but we were happy enough to catch this one and a lot of small mouth bass. Great time.

Thanks James. Great fishing with you guys.

We floated down St Croix river learning how to fly fish. Brian is an excellent instructor and was patient with us. The fish were not biting that day but we had a great time. The river was calm and very beautiful. We were the only people in that part of the river. Enjoyed the experience

Thanks David for the kind review. It was a pleasure to be part of your trip with your daugter.
Brian was awesome! Very patient with me as I had little to no experience with big musky flies and rods. We got few follows which as a first timer out for musky, I couldn’t have asked for more. Very knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. Can’t wait to go again and explore more of this beautiful river system.

Sebastian, You were a pleasure to have on the boat! Thank you so much for the wonderful review. It was fun to watch you progress throughout the day. I look forward to another day on the water. - Brian

Larry, Great time fishing with you and Adam. It was a hot one that day. Came close to a few musky and we did get a couple nice smallies after the musky mojo took its toll, lol. Hope to see you guys on the river again soon. And most of all - thanks for spending the day on the river with me.
The captain loves showing people new places. He enjoys sharing his experiences with others and teaching people how to be successful at fishing. Most of all, he loves the St. Croix River experience from a drift boat. The fishery is amazing and the river is wild, full of fish and wildlife. The captain's favorite species is Musky, with all the folklore, history, and controversy over it. Wisconsin is ground zero where it all began and the species is even the state fish! However, somedays, the captain would say he prefers Smallmouth.
