Located in Fernandina Beach, it will take you on a fun fishing trip close to the shore to chase many interesting species that fill Florida’s waters in large numbers. Captain Kenneth Stewart is there to make your experience the best possible, so join him aboard and have a lovely time fishing!

Your boat is 26-6 ft World Cat with the capacity to fit 6 guests. Thanks to its twin 200 Yamaha engines, it will take you to the fish in no time. Along with various navigation electronics, the boat’s also equipped with downriggers, outriggers and a livewell. There’s also
an ice-box nice comfortable place to sit.

The choice of fish you’ll be targeting includes Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Bonnethead Shark, red snapper, grouper, black sea bass,
Flounder, Redfish, Cobia, King Mackerel, Black Drum, and Whiting. You’ll attract your prey by trolling and spinning on light and heavy tackle and you can keep the fish you catch. The boat’s kids-friendly, so why not bring your young ones aboard and make your trip a wonderful family outing.

Captain Kenneth will provide all the fishing gear, licenses, as well as catch cleaning. You just bring something to eat and drink, and you’ll be all set for the trip.

An Outstanding Captain

Capt. Kenny delivers a top-notch fishing experience with his knowledge, skill, and easygoing demeanor. My family enjoyed every aspect of our trip, beginning with prompt pre-trip communication and ending with Capt. Kenny cleaning our (many) fish dockside for a feast at the Salty Pelican. While Capt. Kenny has the experience to guide more experienced anglers, we particularly appreciated the many ways in which he made the trip fun and engaging for our 12-year-old son. We hope to have the opportunity to fish with Capt. Kenny again and recommend him and Beat the Oddz wholeheartedly.

Great experienced Captain / Great Start to Our Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our fishing trip with Captain Ken on the Beat the Oddz boat. He was very accommodating to switch days because of bad weather. It was enjoyable talking with Captain Ken about the history of Amelia Island and informing us of local restaurants and places of interest. Captain Ken put us on good fishing and we caught numerous fish. At the end of our trip Captain Ken filleted our catch and recommended a local restaurant that will cook the fish for us. We had a great time catching fish and eating it at a restaurant all in the same day, it was delicious. Captain Ken is a very knowledgeable and easy to talk to person. I would highly recommend chartering a trip with him.

Absolutely fantastic morning of fishing!

5 Hour Trip - offshore am on May 6, 2025 • 4 adults

It literally couldn't have been a better morning of fishing! Captain Kenny and Blake worked hard to keep things exciting! We caught 6-7 kinds of fish and kept a few to eat! The scenery and locations along the river, Cumberland Island and Fort Clinch were just beautiful. In addition to the fishing, we saw turtles, many bird species, more pods of porpoises than we could count, hooked a couple of sharks and had a lot of fun and laughs! Thank you for an amazing exoerience guys! Can’t wait until the next time!

Catching Fish and More

Evening fishing on March 11, 2025 • 5 adults

The fish just kept coming and coming. The experienced crew knew where to take us to find the fish we wanted. Once we were set up, the fish kept hitting and hitting. We caught 3 huge drum - we threw back a 25 pound drum - the small one. The crew was thoughtful and had plenty of stories and lore about the area. Communication to set this up was almost instantaneous from them. We had a fantastic time on the water with this crew. Book it. You will have memories of a lifetime.
