Dos Reyes Fishing Charters welcomes you to the stunning waters of Sandy Bay. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Julio Bodden knows them forwards and back.
The fish in these waters include Barracuda, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Kingfish, Blue Marlin, Bluefin Tuna, Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel, Snapper, and more with any luck. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your boat for the day is a 26’ Mako with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. Your trip includes all bait, tackle, and fish cleaning.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Some drinks and snacks will be offered, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Dos Reyes Crew of captain Julio and first mate Elvis delivered a great day of fishing! Great gear, NICE boat, and hooked up on 4 Tuna and a Wahoo! Can’t miss with this crew! Captain was very responsive and secured our transportation to and from cruise ship port. A little disappointed that we didn’t have the opportunity to find an inlet or similar to cast and catch with the kids. So it was mostly a boat ride trolling back and forth and concluding with dropping a line on an electronic reel that didn’t require any human interaction other than hitting a button to drop and reel. I was hoping for a different experience.

Sherman put us on fish and was fun to fish with. He had a good local knowledge of the area and did a good job. I would fish with him again, he was on time and he extended the day to try one more spot!
