Brain was a great captain he met us there at the dock with a smile on his face had a cooler packed down with some ice for are drinks we visited for minute and out on the water we went a short time later my girls and I were putting fish in the boat and smiles on are faces!! We had a short pause for some rain then back out we went. He took us to spot and shortly after we anchored we got a couple poles in and got a couple sharks right a way!! Very good time Brain is very knowledgeable easy to get along with share some laughs definitely would recommend going out with Captain Brain!!! Good luck to your adventure!!

Captain Brian was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive during our 4 hr. near shore fishing charter. He communicated with us prior to the trip, making some modifications to the charter to provide an enjoyable morning trip in the July heatwave we were experiencing. We had a slow start but eventually started catching fish and all four of us caught multiple fish. We caught Black Drum and Black Sea bass.  We also latched into something big that was impossible to bring in because it took the line on a light weight rod. Capt. Brian believes it was probably a Blacktip Shark.  The captain was attentive to our bait and rod maintenance whenever necessary. He is knowledgeable of the Charleston area and history. I would definitely consider Captain Brian again to charter for a fishing trip. I would have given the trip 5 stars if we could have got into some larger fish(most were under the legal size). Captain Brian knew where to fish, unfortunately we couldn’t land the bigger ones.

I’ve been on countless fishing trips, but this one stands out as one of the best! The excitement of catching three sharks, including one massive one, made the experience unforgettable. The captain was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and a joy to be around. His enthusiasm and fun personality added a lot to the trip. Everything was well-organized, and the entire crew was professional and helpful. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an exceptional fishing adventure!

Brian was great! He knew the right spots, bait and fishing techniques. We caught 2 sharks, red drum, speckled sea trout, flounder and lots of lady fish as shark bait. He coached my wife through catching a 4+ foot blacktip shark and just all around took great care of us. Highly recommend!

It was a great trip! Caught several varieties of fish. All the fish I caught was a first for me. Redfish, trout, whiting, blue fish, lady fish, sting ray, and shark!! Captain Brian was very knowledgeable about the fishing and also about the history of some of the ships and points of interest in the harbor! Would do it again if I get the chance and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to catch fish! Thanks Cap!!
