Westbound Sportfishing
You only need to pick the date and let Westbound Sportfishing take you on a memorable fishing journey in Florida. Leaving out of Bay Pines Marina in beautiful St. Petersburg, your captain can head out to inshore and offshore grounds, reefs, wrecks, limestone ledges, or the local grass flats. The captain knows where and how to put you on the hot bite, so come aboard and enjoy your next fishing trip in Florida!
The boat you’ll be fishing offshore is a 30’ Parker center console that can take a maximum of 6 guests. Ran by a brand new 350 HP Suzuki outboard and uses all the modern fishfinder, GPS, radio, as well as radar technology in order to make a quick and safe reach to the fish. The boat has a livewell, an fishbox, food cooler, as well as a portable toilet you can use. Turn to the first mate if there’s anything you need and they will gladly help you out.
On your trip, you’ll go after various species of snapper and grouper, King and Spanish mackerel, cobia, tuna, permit, mahi mahi and more. To reel them in, you’ll use a combination of bottom fishing, live bait fishing, trolling, as well as jigging. Both light and heavy tackle are available. You can keep the any fish you catch that is in season and within the legal limits. Bring your kids along for a day they won’t forget!
The captain will take care of the all the fishing tackle, live bait, fishing licenses, and will even clean and fillet your catch for free. Just bring the snacks and drinks of your choice and you’ll be ready to depart.

Half Day Trip – Deep Sea (AM)
Amazing Day with Capt Brian
I took my two boys, daughter and wife out for a half day trip. We had a great time starting from the dolphins to the boat ride to all the different types of fish. The Capt was knowledgeable about history of the area and definitely the fishing. We caught way more fish than what we brought back, but definitely kept enough for an We caught way more fish than what we brought back, but definitely kept enough for a couple meals. Everyone on board had a great trip. Definitely will be back.

8-10 Hour Trip – Red Snapper
Great Captain
Captain Brian Hansen is exceptional. It was a tough day of fishing, rippy sideways tides, day before a full moon, and finicky fish. However, Captain Hansen kept things moving and put us on some high quality BIG red grouper and big Lane snapper. There's no quit in this Captain, and he will move Heaven and earth to make sure you get on quality fish. I highly recommend you charter here.

Half Day Trip – Deep Sea (AM)
Everything a guy could ask for
Brian was an excellent choice and I would recommend him to anyone. He was very professional but fishing with him was like fishing with a friend. We caught alot of fish including a slammer of a kingfish. A short half day trip couldnt have gone any better. When we come back and want to do some more fishing I will be getting in touch with him for sure.

Great family fishing
My family and I had a great time Westbound fishing. Captain Brian put us on the fish right away. My three girls, ages 6, 8, and 10 had a great time reeling in the fish. Towards the end of the trip we did some trolling and caught some great gag grouper that was fun for dad to reel in. We highly recommend Captain Brian and Westbound Fishing!
