Fowl Hooked Outfitters 

Pick a date that suits you and join Fowl Hooked Outfitters for a fun-packed fishing trip in Texas. You and Captain Kevin Cantu will start out of Matagorda and travel to the area’s bountiful inshore grounds and flats where you’ll go after your prey. Captain Kevin loves sharing his passion for the water with others and is excited about helping you have a memorable day on the sea. Join him aboard and have lots of fun catching fish!

Your boat for the day is a restored 22’ Majek bay boat. It runs on a 200 HP Yamaha engine, uses GPS and a fishfinder for better navigation, and is equipped with a livewell. The boat can sit up to 4 guests.

The species you and the captain will encounter include Flounder Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Black Drum. You can target them using drift fishing and Flounder gigging on light tackle.

If you wish, you can keep the fish you catch and take it home to enjoy some tasty meals with your loved ones. Also, kids are welcome to join your trip, so feel free to take them with you.

Captain Kevin will take care of the rods, reels, tackle, and lures needed for the trip. If you decide to keep your catch, the captain can also clean and fillet it for you, at no extra cost. Just don’t forget to bring your licenses as well as some food and drinks.
