Fish Excursion Charters invites you to spend a fun day on the water and make memories fishing the lovely waters of Florida. Starting out of Destin, you and Captain Mike Quinnell will embark on offshore waters and have a great time chasing many different species. Come aboard and enjoy landing a good catch!
You’ll make your way to the fish on a 25’ Cape Horn center console that can sit up to four guests. The boat’s twin 150 HP Yamaha engines and comprehensive navigation technology will quickly take you to the desired fishing spots. The boat is equipped with outriggers and live well, features an ice-box, and has also got a portable toilet you can use.
Some of the many species you can target include Red Snapper, Bull shark, Mahi Mahi, Grey Triggerfish, Amberjack, Scamp, and Redfish. The fishing techniques you’ll be using are bottom fishing, deep sea fishing, trolling, as well as spinning. If you want to, you can keep the fish you catch and take it home. Also, feel free to bring kids on your trip.
Captain Mike will take care of the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, and licenses needed for the trip. Just bring snacks and drinks of your choice and enjoy the water.

Saltwater Fishing
Captain Mike and his first mate were most accommodating helping us find and catch fish. This is a well experienced boat captain with an unsinkable ship and all the right gear for catching a variety of different fish. We enjoyed our morning on the water catching baitfish and watching dolphins. Later in the trip we caught triggerfish, snapper and even landed a mahi mahi. Lifelong memories made with my father and son.

Great Trip
Started slow and finished strong. Loved every minute of the trip. Boat size was perfect for our family of 4. We caught Sand Perch, trigger, snapper, porgy and gag grouper at the end. Caught 4 nice sized grouper. My wife linked into a 5th that nearly pulled her over but ended up snapping the line. Just a great trip. Thanks Capt. Mike

We started the trip out catching bait fish then found our first spot for snapper. Wasn’t having luck so we went out further and started catching Ruby Reds and Snapper. My boys had the best time and couldn’t say anything but great things about this trip!

Great time!!
I took myself and 3 teenagers. They were great! We fished a ton! But bc we kept fishing for stuff we couldn’t keep (out of season), the captain just kept going till we got enough keepers for dinner! It was great! My kids were pooped and loved it!
