For those that are just passing through, book the day trip and see what these bountiful waters have to offer. This area is known for reeling in some record-breaking fish, so you know you’ll be in for an exciting ride.
Step on board a 14’ Dory-Turbo Glass skiff with 2 of your fishing friends. With a 30 HP Mariner engine, you’ll be at the fishing grounds before you know it. The best area to fish is within 100m of the lodge.
You’ll target ferocious Tigerfish and other freshwater game fish, such as Bream, Vundu, Yellowfish, Chessa, and Nkupe. The rapids and pools that make up their habitat results in extremely strong fish that offer you explosive and dogged fights.
Please note, this beautiful area falls under the Zambezi-kavango Transfrontier Park, which supports protection of the natural environment. All fishing is strictly on a catch and release basis.
This trip will provide you with the fly fishing equipment you need. You are welcome to bring along your own equipment too. Snacks are provided on both drinks too. Pick up can be arranged from the airport, please contact the captain for details and cost.
