The company is owned and operated by Captain Tim Fletcher, who has been providing deep sea fishing trips in the area for over 17 years.

Your trip will depart from Sunrise Marina aboard the “Get Down”, a 32’ Prowler that was restored in 2015, and is powered by a 385HP Caterpillar Turbo Diesel engine. The vessel boasts plenty of space for up to six anglers, an enclosed cabin to provide shade and shelter from the elements, a private head (bathroom) and heated fresh water shower. She also comes equipped with GPS, fishfinder, VHF radio, as well as a flybridge, outriggers, downriggers, quality Penn, Shimano and Star rods & reels, livewell, and icebox to keep your catch fresh and drinks cool.

Get Down Fishing Charters specialize in techniques such as light and heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, and even spearfishing, and fish for species such as Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Grouper, Snapper, Amberjack, Sailfish, Tuna, Dolphin, Cobia, Wahoo, King Mackerel and others. Join Capt Tim on his 3/4 day trip, which includes fishing gear, bait, tackle, ice, fishing licenses and fish cleaning services - you need only provide your own food and drink.

Have a flight to catch after your trip? No problem. Bring a change of clothes, enjoy a hot shower and arrive feeling refreshed and ready for your flight! Your adventure will take you up to 30+ miles offshore in the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Families with children are especially welcome.

Captain Steve was great to work with, and put us on sharks within 15 to 20 minutes of leaving the docks.  Being that my family is from Colorado I requested that we keep the ride as smooth as possible, as they are just getting their “sea legs” still, and the ride out and back in was no problem at all.  He also was very good with the kids and kept them entertained.  All in all we had a great time and we’d be happy to go again!  Thanks to all!

Thank you for the kind words and the nice photos. Glad to hear Capt JC was able to put you guys on some action quickly. Another trip or two and they’ll have those sea legs in great shape!  Tim
