Based out of Port Canaveral, Get Down Fishing Charters is perfectly located to get you to some world-class fishing grounds, just 45 minutes out of Orlando. Captain Tim Fletcher and Captain Nicholas Watson promise to use all their knowledge and skills to help you fill the boat.

Step aboard the “Get Down”, a 32’ Prowler offshore sportfishing vessel and sail away to the fishing trip of a lifetime. A modern vessel, she was restored in 2024 and is powered by a 385 HP Caterpillar Turbo-Diesel engine. She boasts plenty of space for up to 6 anglers, with an enclosed cabin to provide shade and shelter from the elements. Take advantage of the private head and heated freshwater shower, and make yourself at home.

When it comes to fishing, you’ll have everything you need for a productive day. Live bait in advance when available - on certain types of trips, a portion of the charter time is devoted to catching live bait to ensure greater success. The boat comes equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio to get you to the sweet spots. Climb up to the flybridge for a better view of the fishing grounds, and let the outriggers and downriggers troll for you. Using the latest rods and reels, you’re all set to start reeling ‘em in.

Your adventure will take you up to 30+ miles offshore in the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Whether you’re looking to try bottom fishing, trolling, or even spearfishing, Get Down Fishing Charters has you covered. Make use of all these techniques, as you target Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Grouper, Snapper, Amberjack, Sailfish, Tuna, Dolphin, Cobia, Wahoo, King Mackerel, and many more, on what promises to be a productive day out.

This fishing charter offers luxury like no other in the region, so come aboard and live the high life, all the while catching some prized fish on the open seas!

Great day of fishing withe the family. Highly recommended.
3/4 Day Trip (AM) on July 19, 20255 adults1 child
Captain Robert "Robbie" on the vessel Odyssey is a very nice laid back captan that knows his boat, where to find fish and how to treat people. This was a family outin with my daughter, grandson, my son and his bride. We met at the dock, gassed up and headed out on time. The boat is a custom boat set up for charter, single diesel cummings a bit rough around the edges but like the mellinnum falcon she has it where it counts. Ssteady power, large ice boxes, high flow live well, great gear k(Star rods with Avet reels and some pen spin gearn) and most importantly very well stocked with up o date safty equipment including life jackets each with individual EPIRBs. We caught ample live bait with Capt. Throwing pancakes wit the net and wer off to the fishing grounds. We slow trolled and caught Kings a bonita then finished the day bottom fishing. Everyone on the boat caught fish and we had a great time. Captain Robbie went above and beyond, listening and delivering showng knowledge of the area kindness and determination. He was generous with the fishin tim and never seemd rushed to get back to port exactly as chartered. I'm sure he could of if it was asked but we enjoyed the trip and will be back. If you ant to fish the Cocoa beach area and aren't sure when to go for fishing contact him with your targeted species and he'll tell tou when to come or tell you what's biting now.

Captain Rob did an excellent job finding fish on a below average day for other boats. We caught a blackfin tuna, several mackerel, and cobia.

Memorable day on the water. With less than ideal conditions captain Nic was determined to get us on some keeper fish. Ended up being a tremendously exciting day and we appreciated the effort put forth by the captain!
