The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 21’ Sportsman center console. In order to make more room for you and allow you to fish without waiting for your turn, the crew has limited the onboard capacity to 4 anglers maximum. The boat runs on a 150 HP Yamaha engine and features all the modern navigation and safety gear. It’s equipped with outriggers, downriggers, livewell, and an ice-box.
Captain Matt Is one of the most versatile Captains in the area. Expert in Trolling and Live Bait fishing. Sailfish, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Cobia are the main target species on his trips. Captain Matt will gladly give you advice if you’re not sure about your choice between Trolling and live bait fishing. You’re free to bring kids on your trip as well as to keep the fish you catch.
The crew provides you with almost everything you’ll need for your trip. This includes fishing gear, licenses, drinks, as well as catch cleaning. Just bring some food and you’ll be ready for the adventure.

Fantastic trip!
My son and I booked this trip with the expectation of fishing offshore and catching Mahi, Sailfish, etc. Mother Nature had other ideas about letting us into the open ocean. Matt had a backup plan to fish in the intercostal for Tarpon, Jacks, etc. He did not disappoint. We caught several Jacks, had an exciting hookup with a Spinner Shark and my son caught a giant trophy Crevalle Jack that we would have not gotten in without the expertise of the boat captain. This was a great ending to his graduation celebration. Matt knew where the fish were and how to catch them. We look forward to going back.

Great day on the water with a great captain
Captain Matt was not only very knowledgeable about fishing and the area as a whole, but he was also a great guy. He was very patient in teaching every new fishing technique and I learned a lot throughout the trip. The six hours seemed to fly by and many great fish were caught throughout the day. I would 1000% recommend this charter to any fisherman regardless of experience.

Off-shore trip sail fish
Afternoon off-shore trip with Captain Matt with live bait. Clean boat. He set the bait and rods, and we relaxed in the beautiful weather. Caught a beautiful bonita fish and within 1 minute of our departure, we pulled in a glorious 82" sail fish and set it free. Other boats caught little to nothing that afternoon. Forever memories, thank you.

Sailfish Trip
Had an outstanding morning out on the water with Captain Matt. Landed my first sailfish after a long and visual fight (even got lucky enough to see it breach the surface to eat our live bait!) Also landed a bonus slot size kingfish. Couldn't recommend booking a trip enough, if I could give more than five stars I absolutely would. He will do his best to put you on the fish and make sure you have a great time. Will definitely be coming back when the time is right.

Capt Matt was great! Luckily for my son and I, we found Deep Blue 2 which was perfect for the two of us. There are so many charters out there that hold 6-8 people but cost a fortune if there’s only two people. He was very affordable without having to book something sketchy with a captain that doesn’t know what he’s doing. Not the case here, Capt put us on fish in multiple ways, we even threw the kites out which was my sons first time. Would highly recommend and will .
