USCG Capt. Eric will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 6 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Steelhead, Trout, and Salmon, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
Welcome aboard the Spoonfeeder! She is classed as SeaRay 330 Amberjack/Express and has all the amenities to make your trip fun and comfortable. Boasting a 38’ LOA and 13.6’ beam, she’s one of the largest charter boats in North East Michigan. Extremely clean restroom with vacuum flush head and hot and cold running water, cleaned and sanitized after every trip! A/C in the cabin for a nice break to cool down after reeling in a big one! Heat as well for those colder days.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with lunch on full day trips for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

We had a blast on the Spoonfeeder Charter with Eric! This is the third time being out with him. The first time on Lake Huron! The last two were river fishing. Every time has been great and we have always went home with tons of fish! This time we ended up with a Great Lakes Sexton! 6 species in one trip!!! We got one steelhead, one walleye, one pink salmon, two cohos, three king salmon and ten lake trout! Cant wait til next time!

Captain Eric and Captain Eli hosted our family of 6 over 4th of July vacation. They were very accommodating and made it a very special trip for each of our young children. We have kids from 5 years old up to 12 and each one had a blast. These guys are the upmost professionals and really know how to work their setup. We would definitely consider booking again in the future. Thanks guys!!!

My grandson and I love to fish. We came to Michigan to get out on Lake Huron. Captain Eric got us on fish and his First Mate Eli started setting out lines. It wasn’t long till our lines were tight and we were reeling in the fish. My grandson who is 12 was having the time of his life. Both, Captain Eric and First Mate Eli made this trip memorable for my grandson and myself.

Captain Eric and First Mate Eli are a great team. They are extremely knowledgeable fishermen and know the fishing grounds intimately. Overall we caught over 20 fish and had just a fantastic time.
