Papa Bob was very thorough and attentive to where the fish might be on a slow day in late August.  While other guide boats had given up, he found a school of stripers in shallow water and took us there.  He also let us stay for a while even though the hours we were paying for were close to expiring.  Definitely a guide worth booking.

We had two trips with Papa Bob in the same week during a Thanksgiving vacation to Lake Texoma. The first day was right after a cold front with bluebird skies and the fish were not biting very well. With a cold front shoving in bringing 20+ mph winds, choppy waters, and first cold snap of the season, the odds were stacked against any angler on the water that day. Took us a bit but Capt. got us on some fish. We returned with less than limit but more than we could eat at once. As I watched the other boats come in with low slung heads and empty baskets I knew if it hadn’t been for Capt. Papa Bob, we’d also be skunked like the rest. My family and I had so much fun. Our lines were in the water little after 6am. Papa Bob was attentive and friendly.  He took us areas where there were little to no other boats. He took care of the baiting and the cleaning. We caught 35 Striper, plenty more than we thought we were gonna get. We have enough to share with friends and family. Highly recommend Papa Bob.

Had a Absolutely amazing time and the captain made sure to put us right on the fish we will definitely be back for more!
