Water Conditions

Half Day Trip on April 12, 2025 • 2 adults • 1 child

The water clarity was not good; we had high winds for the preceding two weeks which contributed to the water clarity. We did not catch a lot of fish, no keepers. But the trip was for my 8-year-old grandson and he had a blast. Captain John was very good at interacting with him, he had never been on a fast boat before, so he was a little timid, But John made him feel comfortable and he got to reel in the fish that we caught. We will go again when the weather is better.

Very fun trip

Full Day Trip on May 17, 2025 • 6 adults

Friendly, professional captain, morning started off more windy then projected so a slight late start. Every thing else went very smooth. Caught 27 speckled trout between 15" and 22.5" caught atleast 8-10 smaller we released, caught around 15 catfish released. Took my 81 year old grandfather who doesn't walk well. Captain was very accommodating and grandfather had a very good time. Excellent trip . Highly recommend.

Day Trip Excursion

Full Day Trip on March 26, 2025 • 2 adults • 1 child

Took a day long (8 hour trip). Captain and crew ensured we kept finding fish, moved several times utilizing the captain’s knowledge to find fish. Most importantly, we took my 8 year old son with and they ensured he was taken care of. Helping to make a trip of a lifetime for him. He landed two 30+ lb Black Drum with the help of the captain and will never forget that experience!

Captain John was great! He took us out and worked hard to put us on the fish. Tough day with storms rolling in but we still managed to put 9 in the boat. He was great with our teens and really first time fishers giving them a great first time experience. Would definitely recommend and will be going with him again!
