Kemah Fishing Charters specializes in fishing trips for beginners up to expert anglers on Galveston Bay. All the trips are conducted on inshore waters where conditions are typically calm, so no need to worry about rough seas. Captains will make sure you have a great time on the water. Kemah Fishing Charters aims to provide a relaxing, fun, and educational experience!
Your trip will start on a Blazer Bay 2400 with a Suzuki 300 outboard. The boat uses fishfinder and GPS navigation technology, a wireless trolling motor, and is also equipped with a livewell. We also have Nautic Star 244 xts for charter trips.
On your trip, you will be targeting Flounder, Sheepshead, Redfish, Speckled Trout, as well as Black Drum. Using light and heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, drift fish, spin, jig, and popping cork fish. Kids are welcome to join aboard starting at the age of 4.
The captain provides all the fishing gear, including rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures. The only things you will need to bring are fishing licenses for everyone 17 and older, and any refreshments you may want for the outing. Captains work hard before, during, and after the trip, so tips are much appreciated.

Captain Blake helped create a core memory for my family!
The entire boating experience was amazing. From the beginning, Captain Blake insured my family felt welcomed, and it was extremely great with how he handled children. My father has not fished in years and captain Blake insured he took us to spots to catch the most fish. My sons were able to catch Amazing fish and even learn tips and tricks from Captain Blake along the way. My youngest lost interest in fishing so Captain Blake encouraged him to help pick the best bait for everyone. We will definitely be booking with him again as we did not expect to have that much fun. Also, Captain Blake moved us around if the fish we were catching did not meet size requirements. This allowed my dad to catch an amazing drum fish, which was the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend!

Rain Lightning and Wind but nothing keeps a good captain down!!! We slayed em’. The Captain (Cody) kept us safe and made sure we were all comfortable while we reeled in fish after fish. Taught me a few things and certainly helped my boys 10 and 7. So kind and funny. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Been on 10 trips in the area and this one topped them all. Good gear. Great boat. Best Captain.

Great day on the bay
Captain Blake knows how to get you on the fish. If your not getting quality bites I 15 minutes we moved. The bite was all over the bay and found the spots. We will book with him the next time we are in town.

Birthday trip for wife
Capt Blake was top notch . My wife and I took our 11 year old granddaughter, he was so patient with her . The weather wasn’t great extremely windy with a front coming in the next day. He put us on the fish . Our granddaughter caught the Texas Slam ( redfish, trout and a flounder ). We even caught a couple of Blue Catfish. Can’t wait to book our next trip!!!
