Knot Working Fishing Charters is a top-quality professionally ran charter fishing operation located in San Leon in Galveston County, Texas. It prides itself on its customer service along with providing top-notch equipment in hopes of having a successful fishing trip. Captain Brantley Williams has been on the water his entire life from Charleston, South Carolina to the coast of Texas. He works hard to make sure customers are on the fish and in return have a successful trip. Pick your day and come aboard, the captain would love the opportunity to earn your business.

You’ll use a 25’ Tidewater boat that can fit up to 6 guests. It’s powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine that will take you to the fish in no time, uses a wireless trolling motor, and has got GPS, a fishfinder, radio, and radar for navigation. There’s a shower you can use as well as an ice-box. There’s also a livewell to provide live bait.

Drift fishing with live bait under popping corks, croaker soaking, throwing artificials, and wading are some of the techniques you can learn while on board with us. A few species that we will run into along our trips include speckled trout, redfish, sheepshead, blackdrum, spanish mackeral, tarpon, tripletail and flounder. You’re free to keep your catch and take it home as long as it abides by TPWD legal size limits. Kids are welcome to join the trip over the age of 5.

Captain Brantley will prepare all the fishing tackle, equipment, and lures so they are ready when you arrive. If you decide to keep your catch, he offers to clean and bag it for you without any additional fee. Before departing, just make sure to bring your licenses, snacks, and drinks. Live bait will be charged at the market price at the end of the trip. Live bait costs 25$-30$ a person per trip.

Enjoy your stay in nearby Kemah or San Leon and spend a wonderful day of fishing in Texas!

Born and raised on the water in Charleston, South Carolina, Captain Brantley has always been an avid outdoorsman. Fishing and hunting were top-priority throughout his life. However, education, hard work, and sacrifice are needed to get started. He had several jobs growing up from fixing boat trailers, fiberglass work, to being a mate on a sport fishing boat. He was fortunate to get the opportunity and started by simply going to the marina and washing the boat when it came back from a charter that afternoon. One day, Captain Brantley finally got asked to ride along and went every trip for 6 years after that. While doing this, the captain went to college and received his degree which led him to the construction field. A couple of years later, he moved to Texas where he met his beautiful wife and started a family. They purchased a boat and started their business. They provide the knowledge and best equipment to ensure their guests have the greatest opportunity for a successful trip.
