Just hop onboard the ‘Just B Cause,’ a 45’ Resmondo saltwater fishing boat. She was designed and built in Orange Beach specifically designed for charter fishing in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Plus, she is permitted to fish in federal waters.
The Just B Cause comes powered by twin 370 HP Volvo engines for a smooth ride. She is fully outfitted with top-notch navigational electronics and many other professional accessories. The Just B Cause features a wheelhouse, toilet inside, and you will find all the comfort of home, including a bathroom and 4 bunks. All aboard!
The trips are all-inclusive. You only need to bring your own cooler, food, and drinks with you.

6 hour 6 am summer trip on July 16, 2024
Our party included our four children, two Grandchildren and friends for our annual vacation. Captain Eddy welcomed us aboard earlier than our scheduled time and First Mate Spencer got us boarded, briefed and ready for our adventure in record time. My goal was to have everyone catch a fish and enjoy the day. Spencer ensured that happened. He was awesome. Spencer paid personal attention to each one, ensuring the rigs were ready, baited and cast to the right spot. Spencer worked with everyone, coaching them on casting, catching and reeling in their fish. Captain Eddy was keeping an eye out as well. He provided tips to everyone on how to hold the rig and how quickly to reel their catch in. We caught over 40+ fish not counting the undersized ones we had to throw back. We had a grand time and want to give a special thanks to Spencer for remembering our names, his patience with us novice fisher folks, and especially for taking great care of our two special fishermen Tom and Drew. BTW Drew was the overall winner of the day, he caught 12 keepers and numerous throwbacks. Thank you Just B Cause, Captain Eddy and Spencer. Also special shout out to Kato (Mate in training). Baker, Surles, Rollins, Curran and Hines families from Virginia, Oklahoma, & Arkansas.

A great day of Vermillion Snapper and fishing in the Gulf!
6 Hour Trip 1 pm summer trip on July 14, 2024
This trip was for our boys and their girlfriends before heading back to college and work this summer. We had good weather and water, and a great crew and captain. We started a little later, at 8am though this was a change for the better as our original scheduled time was 1pm for an afternoon outing. Captain also recommended a six hour charter vs the available 5 hour, and then offered a switch to AM due to better conditions. We had a total of 8 in our group and everyone had a great time. The crew were great as we had mostly a group that have never gone ocean fishing before and the fist mate and mate really helped out getting lines back in the water, hooked up and fish on! Captain got us out quick to fishing spots and ensured we were on fish and if not, then a quick move to another spot. We caught our fill and had a great day on the water. Fish tacos that night! Fantastic fishing trip for the whole family
6 hour 6 am summer trip on June 4, 2024
Captain Eddy kept putting us on the red snapper while Spencer & Zack kept everyone rigged up. We also caught vermillion, white and mangrove snapper as well as trigger fish which we had to toss back since they were out of season. After our family of 10 caught our limit of snapper we trolled while heading back. We caught Bonita and a king mackerel trolling. Plenty of opportunity for pictures and videos of the teens reeling in fish. Felt a little guilty watching Spencer and Zack clean all those fish but they really seemed to enjoy their jobs. Great fishing trip for everyone. Highly recommend!!

Great fishing trip!

We charter fish yearly around the Gulf and Carribean and have used another charter out of Destin before. This boat lived up to the reviews and the billing. Older vessel but well-kept and clean, great air-conditioned cabin. Captain and crew were pleasant, helpful, and friendly. They knew where the fish were, fishing through a storm, but caught a lot and a variety. Only drawback was had to throw back some big grouper and triggers because they were out of season. I would book this again.
