If you’re here to make the most of fishing in Destin, look no further than Destin Inshore Fishing Company. Your guide for the day is Captain Andrew, so you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Blacktip Shark, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 30’ Parker center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Destin Inshore Fishing Company!
