Our goal is to make sure your charter has fun while catching fish – pretty simple, right? Departing from Leonardo Marina, you can fish Raritan Bay, Sandy Hook Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. Join us for a great private fishing trip in New Jersey!
We just repowered a safe and fast fishing machine Everglades 290. This 29’ center console can fit 6 guests and has the latest gear, tackle, and electronics to put your crew on the fish. It uses twin 225 HP Honda engines and outriggers and features an ice-box and a livewell. Of course, the boat is equipped with all the coast guard safety gear and also has an enclosed bathroom.
Our Striped Bass fishery is amazing. Striped Bass have two great seasons- spring and fall. This usually means April until June and then again from October until December. We use mojos, parker spoons, swim shads, Nomad Vibes, topwater plugs, live bait – anything it takes to catch your fish of a lifetime.
Summer Flounder (a great fish to target with the kids) gets going from June until September. We provide the bucktails and gulp or fresh bait to put the doormats in your cooler.
Black Seabass and Blackfish are prolific in our area and are so good to eat. We will get you on the “good bottom” so you can fill the cooler with these tasty fish. We also catch Cod, Porgy, and Triggerfish on these trips.
Sandy Hook Charters will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, and bait. You just bring your food and drinks. If you decide to keep your catch, our crew can clean it and bag it for you. A 20 percent tip is customary if you are satisfied.

Awesome Trip!
Half Day Trip – After Work on October 27, 2024
2 years in the making - tried booking with Capt. Tim last year, but weather and scheduling didn't allow it to happen. Contacted Tim again this year and we got lucky with only 1 reschedule and was given a great day to head out to fish. Our crew was my son and 2 of his friends and their Dad's. The stripers were around but weren't biting at first. Tim continued to make it happen spotting different areas were the water broke. Then it happened we caught our first one, shortly after we caught our next one. Just before we were about to head back to start on blackfish - we caught our last and largest of the day. Our crew had an awesome time fishing with Capt Tim and First mate Robert.

Fishing Trip of a Lifetime!
3/4 Day Trip – Striped Bass on October 24, 2024
Captain Tim and 1st mate Chris hit a "Grand Slam" on this run. From the start Captain Tim gave us a walk through, and from then on the day only had gotten better. No matter what the size boat or how many people were on it, I have never seen that many fish of that size caught on one trip. Captain Tim was on it from start to finish, like a storm chaser he moved us from one great spot to another. Pulling in Very Big Strippers with each stop. He helped us all pull in these huge fish, the seasoned fishermen as well as the 1st timers. It's a fishing trip you hear about but find hard to believe, believe it " WE Have The Pictures, It Happened"!

Capt. Tim and 1st mate Russ were excellent. They are quick to help and well informed about the fishing spots and the multitude of species you can catch. If I said 250 catches at 10 to one I would be close. Lots of catching.

So Captain Tim took me and my young family out to sea. I have little kids between age 2 and 9. Any of you who have a bunch of young kids know it ain't a picnic going on a family trip. Captain Tim was great, tolerated all of us, taught us to fish for Blackfish, was patient with my boys and girls and YES we CAUGHT A TON OF FISH. Will come back for more. Thanks Tim

Just an awesome trip. Capt put us on Sea Bass, Porgy, Blackfish and more all morning. Was flexible with our trip despite us being late and was on top of everything start to finish. Never satisfied with OK, we moved to get on the fish as soon as a bite slowed down. All around outstanding day.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
