Blue Water Sportfishing – Tres Amigos
Running angling trips out of Acapulco, Blue Water Sportfishing invites you to check out the local fishery in style.
Come on aboard with Capt. Jesus, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like trolling, handline, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 6-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Spanish Mackerel, Tuna, and Marlin, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.
Your boat for the day will be a 40’ Custom that fits up to 8 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with a toilet, ice box, and fighting chair. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.
You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so. Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Great time on the Tres Amigos boat. Captain Jesus and his team where great. Saw many sailfish along the trip. We ended our trip with 1 sailfish and a few other smaller fish. Would definitely recommend them to anyone planning on coming to Acapulco.

Captain Carlos tried hard since the beginning to make my son and I fish, we search the « pez vela » really a lot but it was worthy at the end!!! We catch 3 beautiful ones! and we stop then since it was well enough, we changed our fishing technique then and catched a beautiful « dorado » and « barrilete » . Beautiful day with my son!!!!

This was my familia's first time fishing. Carlos and Ruby was patient and made sure that they had a great experience. We slayed them today catching lots of mahi mahi all under 3 1/2 hours. Before becoming a captain back in 1989, Captain Jesus worked as a first mate on boats in the area for 10 years. With over 40 years of experience on the water, he knows all the tricks of the trade. A passionate angler to this day, he placed second at a local Sailfish tournament in June 2019, proving that he knows exactly what it takes to land the biggest fish. He promises a fun-filled time aboard, made all the easier with his excellent English.
